The Cardinal Crisis

A little girl splattered with blood cries out in shock surrounded by dead and injured adults and children after explosions during a religious ceremony in the centre of Kabul. At least 30 people were reportedly murdered in the mysterious explosion at a Kabul shrine where Shia Muslims were marking the 'Day of Ashura.' The blast came in the city center where Muslims had gathered to carry out sacred religious rituals.

Peace & Goodwill To Humanity

All Praise & Glory Be To The Immortal God

This December 2, 2011 edition of Global Astrology is a preview of 2012 – a major astrological year that will officially begin by mid-March 2012.

As we are in the holiday season - despite the negativity in the world and the sad violent events -  let's remember that great goodness is also being done worldwide as we battle the forces of darkness and counterfeit spirits who are heading into perdition.

The murder of innocents is a great, great sin that receives the most horrid of punishments. For those murderers who falsely believe that they can get away with the taking of the lives of others, we remind all of the prophetic warnings of the Pistis Sophia.

In some ways, I feel like the Ghost Angel of Christmas Present in 'Scooged.' I don't enjoy having to be tough sometimes, but in forecasting some of the events to come in the world, well I'd like to remind people that love can also kick plenty ass.

Capricorn's Medicine: "Practice... Sometimes the Truth Is Painful"

Have a Happy Holiday Season wherever you are. Let's do only good service as karmic energies will continue to run high, according to planetary and stellar transits relative to the Earth.

Uranus Direct & A Total Lunar Eclipse
Preview Of 2012
Total Lunar Eclipse

Forecast By
Theodore White, mundane Astrolog.S

A total lunar eclipse will take place on Saturday, December 10, 2011.

The last eclipse of the astrological year 2011 will be a total lunar eclipse that takes place with the Moon's descending node in eastern sidereal Taurus and tropical Gemini, four days after a lunar apogee.

The Moon's orbit will have gone through the southern half of Earth's umbra with the total eclipse phase lasting 51 minutes. The Moon's path through Earth's shadow is seen below:

Penumbral Eclipse Begins at 11:33:32 Universal Time (UT)

UT Partial Eclipse Starts: 12:45:42 UT
 Total Eclipse Began: 14:06:16 UT
 Greatest Eclipse Occurred: 14:31:49 UT
 Total Eclipse Ended: 14:57:24 UT
 Partial Eclipse Ended: 16:17:58 UT
 Penumbral Eclipse Ended: 17:30:00 UT

The total lunar eclipse observed on Dec. 10th will be seen in Asia and Australia while rising over eastern Europe and setting in northwestern America.

At greatest eclipse (14:32 UT) the Moon will been at zenith over the Pacific Ocean, near the Philippines, Guam and Northern Mariana Islands.

Umbral eclipse magnitude will peak at 1.1061 as the Moon's center will pass at 21.4 arc-minutes just south of the shadow axis. The Moon's northern limb is 6.4 arc-minutes south of the shadow's axis and will be 33.3 arc-minutes from the umbra's edge.

In contrast, the Moon's southern limb will be about 36.5 arc-minutes from the shadow center and 3.2 arc-minutes from the southern edge of the Earth's umbra. So the northern half of the Moon will appear much darker than the southern half because it is deeper in the umbra.

During the total lunar eclipse, observers will be able to observe these stars:

The fixed star Aldebaran will be at 9-degrees to the Southwest of the eclipsed Moon.

The fixed star Betelgeuse at 19° to the Southeast.

The fixed star Pollux at 37° East.

And the fixed star Capella at 24° North.

The entire total lunar eclipse event will have been visible from Asia and Australia. In North America, the lunar eclipse will have already been in progress as the Moon sets for western observers.

Europe and Africa missed early eclipse phases as these occurred before moon rise in those regions. The eclipse will not be seen from South America.

In the western United States, the moon will appear in a reddish glow, as indirect sunlight passing through the Earth's atmosphere scatters blue light so only red light strikes the Moon, this gives the lunar face a crimson hue.

The December 10, 2011 total lunar eclipse will be at tropical 18-Gemini and is the 23rd member of Saros Cycle 135 - a series of 71 eclipses - 9 penumbral, 10 partial, 23 total, 7 partial, and 22 penumbral lunar eclipses.

Uranus Direct In Aries
Earthquakes, Battles & Hostilities
Sidereal telescopic observation of the planet Uranus in transit

On the same day of the total lunar eclipse, Dec. 10, 2011, the planet Uranus will have stationed direct at 0-Aries. Uranus has been retrograde since July 9-10, 2011 when it reached 4-Aries.

Uranus will remain direct in motion until July 13, 2012. Uranus features increased climate events such as volcanic eruptions, seismic activity, along with unusual electrical anomalies.

With the full moon, along with Uranus stationing direct at 0-Aries, expect to hear of earthquakes within a day of Uranus turning direct in motion on December 10-11, 2011 in various regions including Mexico, where according to my calculations of transits - a strong magnitude earthquake is on the way.

In mundane astrology, Uranus is known as a 'radical planet.' The code of this planet is entirely its own while being indifferent to convention.

The inclinations of Uranus are maverick, impulsive and in tropical Aries, sudden. The electromagnetic energy is always charged when Uranus transits at such a powerful degree as the vernal tropical point.

Uranus will travel from 0-degrees of tropical Aries to 8-degrees by July 13, 2012 when Uranus will station retrograde.

The first official first of seven (7) world squares from Uranus to Pluto in Capricorn will begin in June 2012 and reapply, by means of Uranus' retrograde, in mid-September 2012.

During this time from December 2011 through to July 2012, the direct motion of Uranus in combination with its building square to Pluto calls on populations to be mindful when in crowds and to use caution in extended travel. Cures for the influence of Uranus are prudence, patience and common sense in practice.

Battles and hostilities around the world are more than likely as Uranus crosses over the vernal equinox Aries point and deeper into the first 8-10 degrees of Aries.

More on Uranus and its series of powerful square aspects to Pluto in Capricorn and their combined global influences in this edition of Global Astrology.

Preview of 2012

"The final mystery is oneself. When one has weighed the Sun in the balance and measured the steps of the Moon and mapped out the seven heavens star by star, there still remains oneself. Who can calculate the orbit of his own soul?" - Oscar Wilde

The total lunar eclipse at 18-degrees tropical Gemini speaks to us of events to come in 2012 - particularly the month of June 2012.

That month features the Venus Transit of June 5th related in the Mayan Long Count Calendar, whose mundane astrologers tracked the transits of Venus relative to the Earth over the centuries.

I have forecasted on the Venus Transit in the September 2011 edition of Global Astrology along with my public health warning for the world. I remind people who read this to build up their immune systems for a active biological year in 2012.

The Venus Transit of June 2012 takes place very close to the Dec. 10, 2011 eclipse degree of the Moon in tropical Gemini and sidereal Taurus. Therefore, we can expect outbreaks involving large accidents, crashes, protests, riots and a pandemic to occur under these celestial inclinations.

We have seen many changes throughout the world over the last ten years of the first decade of the 21st century. The total lunar eclipse marks a preview - and warnings - of the year ahead.

It is wise for those reading this to take the time to digest and think through planned activities in 2012 and to exercise prudence, patience and caution - especially in travel - as world transits for Twenty-Twelve are powerful to say the least.

Now, as we enter into the second decade of this new century the world is about to experience a rush in human evolution in 2012 – amid great economic, political and social stresses – that will separate those who are creative, good and able to progress from those who have sought only to cheat, exploit and take.

The year 2012 is a special year astrologically as the planets form a series of combinations that will incline much of the world to change so that by the start of 2013; we will have fully entered a new era.

This era is generational in nature as one establishment sees the sun set while another will witness their sun rising.

We are now in a transitional state, between the outmoded methods and behavior of one generation with both feet in the 20th century as another generation begins to make its mark with their heads in the 21st century.

Since All Saints Day, on November 1, 2011, some people may have felt and experienced a change in circumstances, much of it for the positive. This is by the hand of the Immortal God, whose servants guide and  are able to alter the present for the sake of the future.

Those who recognize these very subtle changes, by means of the Ineffable, should also know of the signs of times.

In this Dec. 2, 2011 edition of Global Astrology we preview 2012 as we continue to focus on my mundane forecast that the Great Recession may become a Great Depression

Prelude To 2012
Retreat To Revive
Mundane Tips To Rejuvenate Body, Mind & Spirit

by Theodore White, mundane Astrolog.S

At this time of year, in both the northern and southern hemispheres, we ready for the Sun's cardinal change in seasons. One hemisphere sees less light and goes into winter while another sees increasing light and experiences spring.

Now remember, in the true calendar, the month of December is the tenth month. The months of  December, January (11th month) and February (12th month) are those that bring the year 2011 to its close.

The new year will open in mid-March 2012, with the onset of the equinox for the northern hemisphere.

The Winter Solstice features the entry of the Sun into tropical Capricorn. This is the time of year for the northern hemisphere where the shortest day and longest nights occur.

Winter Solstice - Dec. 22, 2011
Washington D.C.
click on Winter Solstice 2011 chart to enlarge

The Sun makes ingress into tropical Capricorn at Washington D.C., on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 12:30 a.m., EST., and is located in the mundane third house with Pluto in Capricorn angular at the fourth mundane house square to the rising ascendant in Libra.

The Capricorn Sun is square to Uranus at 0-Aries, which has just set by Dec. 22 and located in the sixth mundane house.

The winter season in Washington, as in many places worldwide is frustrating - the lack of political teamwork amid greater economic stresses stagnates true policy reform.

Complicating matters in the Winter Solstice chart is the position of transiting Venus, at 1-Aquarius in separating square to transiting Jupiter, at 0-Taurus, and three days away from its station to direct motion.

The Libra ascendant, ruled by Venus, signifies the People, and with Venus in the fourth mundane house in square to Jupiter in Taurus, those in Washington are seen as self-indulgent and out of touch with the country.

Laziness, procrastination, financial extravagance and misplaced sympathies are common with Venus-Jupiter squares. In the Winter Solstice Capricorn Ingress of December 2011 it appears that Washington at this time lacks the social intelligence while participating in scenes of insincere gestures to avoid any unpleasantness.

Meanwhile, the Jupiter-Saturn opposition borders on the mundane Second and Eighth Houses signifying the continuing economic problems facing the U.S. and many other nations.

Transiting Venus squares both Jupiter and Saturn while signifying the red tape, barriers and immorality of those in power. Uncompromising attitudes between political parties and within them stagnate the great economic growth that is sorely needed.

There are those who continue to employ questionable means and strategies to advance their interests while conflicts abound in professional and domestic responsibilities.

There is hypocrisy as these conflicts play out on outdated political fields along with the lack of any balance between liberal and conservative viewpoints.

Pluto's position in the mundane fourth house, and its building square to Uranus in Aries in 2012 also continues to act as a warning for the next several years.

Populations are very upset with the crime, corruption and great financial irresponsibility and mismanagement by the outgoing generational establishment which has led the world to the brink of another great depression.

Therefore, the election year of 2012 will be very disruptive in light of the coming second and larger rounds of the 'Occupy' movements worldwide next year.

'Occupy' Movement Protests Move To Foreclosed Homes In America

AP

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- The Occupy Wall Street protests are moving into the neighborhood.

Finding it increasingly difficult to camp in public spaces, Occupy protesters across the country are reclaiming foreclosed homes and boarded-up properties, signaling a tactical shift for the movement against wealth inequality.

Groups in more than 25 cities held protests on behalf of homeowners facing evictions.

In Atlanta, protesters held a boisterous rally at a county courthouse and used whistles and sirens to disrupt an auction of seized houses.

In New York, they marched through a residential neighborhood in Brooklyn carrying signs that read "Foreclose on banks, not people."

Southern California protesters rallied around a family of six that reclaimed the home they lost six months ago in foreclosure.

"It's pretty clear that the fight is against the banks, and the Occupy movement is about occupying spaces. So occupying a space that should belong to homeowners but belongs to the banks seems like the logical next step for the Occupy movement," said Jeff Ordower, one of the organizers of Occupy Homes.

The events reflect the protesters' lingering frustration over the housing crisis that has sent millions of homes into foreclosure after the burst of the housing bubble that helped cripple the country's economy.

Nearly a quarter of all U.S. homeowners with mortgages are now underwater, representing nearly 11 million homes, according to CoreLogic, a real estate research firm.

Protesters say that banks and financial firms own abandoned foreclosed houses that could be housing people.

Seattle has become a leader in the anti-foreclosure movement as protesters took over a formerly boarded-up duplex last month. They painted the bare wood sidings with green, black and red paint, and strung up a banner that says "Occupy Everything - No Banks No Landlords."

While arrests have already been made in a couple of squatting cases in Seattle and Portland, it remains to be seen how authorities will react to this latest tactic.

In Portland, police spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson said he's aware that the movement called for people to occupy foreclosed homes, but said it's difficult to distinguish between the people who would squat in homes as a political statement and those that do it for shelter.

"The vacant property issue is of concern in cities nationwide," Simpson said. "We'll treat them all as trespassers."

In Seattle, protesters took over a boarded-up warehouse slated for demolition. In an announcement, the protesters said they planned to make the warehouse into a community center, and hosted a party the night they opened the building. Police moved in soon after, arresting 16 people in the process of clearing it out.

Seattle police spokesman Sgt. Sean Whitcomb said his department sees squatting in private properties as the same violation of trespassing Occupy Seattle made when it camped in a downtown park.

"It's no different than when people were trespassing (in the park)," Whitcomb said. "We went nights and days, letting people camp in the park. We relied on education and outreach, rather than enforcing the law to the letter."

Atlanta protesters took a more aggressive approach in trying to disrupt the home auction. The auction went on but the whistles and sirens made it difficult for the auctioneers to communicate, said Occupy Atlanta spokesman Tim Franzen.

"We don't know how many homes we saved for one more month during the holiday season," he said. "It was kind of a Christmas gift to the people."

In Riverside, Calif., Art de los Santos arrived in a U-Haul with assorted furniture and about three dozen supporters at his former three-bedroom, three bathroom home. He broke the lock and moved back in.

Reclaiming his old home is his last resort to get the attention of bank JP Morgan Chase after he applied three times for a loan modification to no avail.

"I'm getting down to my last option," he said. "Nothing seems to work. Maybe if I protest, it'll get their attention."

The home, which was foreclosed on, is sitting empty while he, his wife and four children, aged 11 to 7, are squeezed into an Orange County rental apartment. He's also renting a storage unit.

"It's sad because you have all these memories there," said the 46-year-old. "My kids were running around the neighborhood on their bikes. It's a nice little community."

Tom Kelly, spokesman for JP MorganChase, had no immediate knowledge of de los Santos' case and could not comment, but noted that he is trespassing.

New York protesters introduced members of a homeless family at the end of their rally and said they plan renovate and clean up the house so the family can live in a house they said had been abandoned by a bank.

In Portland, a press conference was held at the home of a woman facing foreclosure next March. She vowed to stay in her house until authorities take her out.

"We belong here," said Deb Austin, who said she fell behind in payments after a cancer diagnosis and after her husband lost her second job. "And we're not leaving."

For many, the common year of 2011 has been a challenging year and people may report that they are tired and require rest and reflection. This is a good strategy considering the strong world transits and their inclinations to come in 2012.

Retreating to revive oneself can work during the months leading to the coming new year by March as long as you remember to prep for a busy year to come and are focused enough to revive wisely.

December 2011

With Mercury retrograde the first half of December and debilitated in Sagittarius it is important to mind impulse while toning things down. The holiday rush will simply add to the stresses already evident in society.

The month of December will feel more like work than anything else. Despite appearances and forced consumerism  many people are just not in the holiday mood this year.

This is a trend that continues since the onset of the Great Recession. This year will be no different.

Venus in Capricorn and Mars in Virgo work together by earth trine in December to make Christmas 2011 the best parents are able to for the children.

Full Moon Week of Dec. 10-17

Busy, but frustrating. The Moon at 18-Gemini on Dec. 10 kicks off what will constitute the busiest week leading up Christmas. Mercury is retrograde to Dec. 14; yet with the Last Quarter Moon in Virgo to start Dec. 17 through Dec. 24, the energies run lower still.

The Full Moon Week beginning December 10, 2011 is significant as a total lunar eclipse along with Uranus turning direct at 0-Aries signifies earthquakes from the increased electromagnetic energies.

The week is also one of many short trips, running about trying to deal with emergencies along with the back and forth to fulfill expected holiday chores. The week of Dec. 10-17 constitutes the real Christmas this year, so it is best to enjoy the week by using it well as energies will run lower as the last quarter week begins on December 17.

Best to pace oneself and remember that there will be other Christmas holidays, so don't try to do too much, but just enough.

Last Quarter Moon Week of Dec. 17-24

Feels more like work than anything else. A tiring week. The last quarter phase at 25-Virgo is more or less pushing out hard and working for the holidays, but energy wanes and the experience is more akin to going through the pre-Christmas motions, but feeling more tired each day as Christmas Day nears.

The energies are lacking leading up to the new moon of Dec. 24th, Christmas Eve, so don't stress out if plans and visits do not turn out as expected. Mercury, now direct and still in tropical Sagittarius, means delays in travel and deliveries.

The transiting last quarter Moon in Sagittarius on Dec. 22-24 spurs last minute buys that tend be to more expensive than first advertised. Buyer beware.

Last minute deliveries show that packages will be rushed with many not arriving until after Christmas Day.

The impulsive inclinations of this last quarter moon in Sagittarius shows over-stocked and overpriced products passed off as 'great bargains' that are in reality not whatsoever.

Transits Of December 23, 2011
click on horoscope to enlarge

Friday, Dec. 23rd has the last quarter Moon in square aspect to Mars in Virgo. This is effectively the final full day of the last quarter phase as well as the final business day before Christmas.

With Jupiter and Saturn in opposition along with the Moon's square to Mars, don't expect much energy as people rush at low ebb. Misjudgments abound with the weak lunar influence in waxing square to Mars in tropical Virgo.

It is best to retreat and begin the process of reviving through the coming months of January and February.

The long transit and retrograde of Mars in tropical Virgo between December through early July 2012 shows the overall need to review life, career and domestic plans so that the second half of 2012 into the year of 2013 proceeds smoother.

New Moon - Dec. 24 to January 1

The New Moon of December 24 occurs by transit at 2-Capricorn. This new moon effectively kicks off the winter season in the northern hemisphere. The end of December brings much colder temperatures that become colder still into early January.

Jupiter stations direct on Sunday, December 25, at 0-Taurus. This ends the retrograde period Jupiter began August 30th. The direct motion of Jupiter on Dec. 25, 2011 will continue until its next retrograde in early October 2012.

The station of Jupiter direct on Dec. 25 is a good time to slowly, and gracefully, to ease into one's planning for the very busy year of 2012. This can continue through January, February and into March 2012, so while resting also use the time to plan for changes to make for next year.

The December 24 new moon in early Capricorn squares Uranus in Aries. Going into the end of the common year celebrations called 'new years' we leave the transiting Moon in Pisces of Dec. 28-31 and enter Aries for December 31st.

New Years' Eve - December 31, 2011
Manhattan, New York
click on horoscope to enlarge

Post-Christmas from December 26 to December 31 is a time to retreat rather than to celebrate under these planetary inclinations.

The Moon's transit during this time - from Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces to the ingress into tropical Aries on December 31st - show the need to refresh rather than to exert energy.

Those who do push are bound to cause and become victim to accidents.

The mundane sunrise chart above shows Mercury and Mars in tight square aspect by mutable means so arguments and fights stem from over-emotionalism and lack of healthy communication and understanding between parties.

Mercury in Sagittarius in square to Mars in Virgo calls for the need to avoid arguments, the use of sarcasm and to guard against mental irritations - mainly from others and environmental disruptions.

The active Jupiter-Saturn opposition adds to the overall negative business atmosphere, so there are bound to be barriers in communications with people disagreeing over money. It is not the time to approach others with new projects, rather wait until mid-January to do so.

This is not the time to force matters but rather to repose and rest.

The Moon is also conjoined to Uranus in Aries... accidents on the road caused by impulsiveness with serious injuries to the head and torso in vehicular tragedies.

No matter, the inclinations are bound to be allowed by the weak of mind to engage in activities that are no favored as the common year of 2011 is celebrated at this time of year.

Drinking and driving combine to make Dec. 31 into January 2 a deadly three-day period that requires careful attention by all. Caution is advised.

Retreat to Revive

For those in the northern hemisphere, the longest nights and lack of extended sunlight means making adjustments to compensate.

The transits of December, January, February and March call on many people to clear their minds, hearts, and spirits of the negativity and corruptive influences of the last decade so as to prepare for the coming fight against those who have caused the mess in the first place.

Make no doubt about it - the time for taking names and kicking ass is coming - there is no getting around this considering the world transits just around the corner.

Therefore, it is best to gain your rest to revive so when that time comes to take those names, and to kick those asses - that you will be ready to be hostile, mobile and agile when it comes to battling the forces of evil and darkness in the world. Remember, tough love kicks much ass.

Retreating to revive through the months from December 2011 through to March 2012 will feature an earlier than normal spring season on the horizon. That is my astrometeorological forecast for the northern hemisphere in brief.

Spring 2012 will arrive early, so it is essential to lose that weight this winter in the northern hemisphere as well as to lose any regressive emotional and mental baggage from the past.

Reviving oneself means avoiding conflicts with jerk offs, unreliables and all manner of bad people.

Most depression that people experience often comes from just being surrounded by assholes, so check to see if that a depression is the true issue before sinking into a 'depressionary' state of mind.

Light is important during winter seasons, so make certain that you use light well indoors so that your eyes are able to take in the right kind of white light that is reduced with the Sun's motion into the winter constellations of the northern hemisphere.

Get sleep and rest. Eight or more hours is best.
Eat smaller and frequent meals.
Watch less TV.
Read and write more.
Use Cherry Juice to ward off the winter blues.
Replace yellow indoor light bulbs with iridescent white light bulbs.

Revive to Retreat is about recharging your batteries for the world transits of the entire astrological year of 2012 just ahead. Next year is very active, and will call on everyone to be at their very best states of emotional, mental and spiritual health.

Remember, love is strong, not weak. So spend time helping yourself and others to revive those healthy energies for next year - you will need all the energy you can get.

The transit of Mars in Virgo has special significance this year and into 2012. The red planet has been rising ahead of the Sun since summer 2011 and is now rising just after midnight to rise earlier during the nights in the months ahead.

As we will see, the inclinations of the lesser malefic brings out negative events from the past to the forefront:

In mundane astrology, the planet Mars is known as the 'lesser malefic' with Saturn being the 'greater malefic.'

Mars in Transit
December 2011 to July 2012

The transit of Mars in tropical Virgo should be of interest to all. This particular Mars transit has been featured on Global Astrology before.

Mars will spend the next seven (7+) months in sidereal Leo and tropical Virgo. This is due to Mars' annual retrograde as it transits along the Zodiac.

In early March 2012, the Earth and Mars will conjoin. Observers will be able to see the reddish-orange planet shining brighter in magnitude in the chilly night skies of the northern hemisphere.

By early January 2012, Mars will begin to spend much of its transit in the northern hemisphere as a nocturnal planet, rising just after 10 p.m. and setting about 10:30 a.m. The nights feature malefic energies during the winter and into the spring season in the northern hemisphere.

Mars entered tropical Virgo on November 11, 2011 and will remain in tropical Virgo/sidereal Leo for seven (7) months until early July 2012.

Mars will retrograde in Virgo by January 24, 2012 and will be close to the Earth, shining a bright red-orange as the Earth will conjoin Mars between March 3-6, 2012.

This Mars phase with Earth begins with its conjunction cycle on 3 March 2012 at 20:35 03 UT. Mars will have a visual magnitude of -1.23, at about 13.9 arc seconds and be 1.66 AU away from Earth.

Mars will be at coordinates 11h06m, +10°21' in sidereal Leo, where you will see a waxing gibbous Moon about 40 degrees to west of Mars.

Mars will appear as a bright reddish-orange object that should rise at about the same time the sun sets (and set at about the same time as the next sunrise).

The season on Mars will be late spring in the northern hemisphere and late autumn in the southern hemisphere. At opposition to the Sun, the entire disk of Mars will be illuminated in full phase, like a full moon so the planet will be bright in conjunction with the Earth.

Before and after opposition, it will be in gibbous phase; so we can never have a crescent phase since Mars is further away from the Sun than Earth and thus can never be between Earth and the Sun.

Due to the high ellipticity of Mars' orbit, the closest approach to Earth will occur at 16:55 05 UT on March 5, 2012, when Mars will be only 101 million km (0.674 AU) or 62.6 million miles away.

Mars will retrograde in tropical Virgo from mid-January 2012 to April 14, 2012, when Mars stations direct at 3-Virgo.

The transit of Mars for seven months in Virgo, along with its retrograde cycle and conjunction to Earth in March 2012, along with additional transits show malefic inclinations from this year and into next.

During the transits of Mars in sidereal Leo and tropical Virgo expect to hear strange and disgusting stories of events surrounding personalities in the areas of sport and law enforcement.

As Mars entered tropical Virgo, accusations of homosexual and pedophile crimes were announced to the public in places such as Penn State University, where a former football coach stands accused of having sex with young boys.

The Penn State Child Sex Scandal
Former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky is pictured here with underage youths.

Reuters reported that former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky, already charged with 40 counts of abusing eight boys over 15 years, was arrested at his home and charged with 12 new counts of sexual abuse, said Linda Kelly, Pennsylvania's attorney general.

Wearing a Penn State windbreaker, Sandusky, 67, was taken to the Center County Correctional Facility in Bellefonte, Pa., after his arraignment, because he was unable to pay the $250,000 cash bail.

If Sandusky can post bail, he will have to wear an electronic ankle monitor and be subject to house arrest. He is not allowed to make contact with the accusers or witnesses and cannot have unsupervised contact with minors.

The new charges widen the Pennsylvania attorney general’s case against Sandusky, who now faces more than 50 counts of child sexual abuse.

Among the new counts, Sandusky was charged with four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, all first-degree felonies punishable by up to 20 years in prison and $25,000 in fines.

Sandusky’s lawyer, Joseph Amendola, did not return a message left on his cellphone.

Both of the new accusers told a grand jury that they, like the eight other accusers in the case, met Sandusky through the Second Mile charity he founded in 1977.

The organization, which has been making preparations to fold, announced that it would reduce its staff after losing “significant financial support.”

The attorney general, Linda Kelly, said the new accusers’ contact with Sandusky “allegedly fit a pattern of ‘grooming’ ” that included gifts and outings to Penn State football games and then escalated to physical contact and sexual assaults. Both accusers came forward after Sandusky was arrested Nov. 5.

One of the new accusers, identified as Victim 9, testified that he met Sandusky around 2004, when he was 11 or 12. He testified that Sandusky sexually assaulted him numerous times over a period of years in a bedroom in the basement of Sandusky’s home.

Victim 9, now 18, told a grand jury that Sandusky told him to stay in the basement during his overnight visits to the home and that he rarely saw Sandusky’s wife, Dorothy.

He said that he ate meals brought to him in the basement by Sandusky, who also took him to Penn State football games, hugged and tickled him and told the alleged victim he loved him.

The accuser testified that Sandusky forced him to perform oral sex on him on numerous occasions. The reported victim also said that Sandusky tried to rape him on at least 16 occasions, and at times, Sandusky anally penetrated him.

According to the grand jury report, “the victim testified that on at least one occasion he screamed for help, knowing that Sandusky’s wife was upstairs, but no one ever came to help him.”

Sandusky allegedly told the boy not to tell anyone about what had happened between them.

The other accuser, identified as Victim 10, told the grand jury that he met Sandusky in 1997, when he was 10. He testified that he had several meals at the Sanduskys’ home, attended the family’s tailgate parties and played football at Penn State’s Holuba Hall, the football team’s indoor practice facility.

The accuser said he never spent the night at Sandusky’s home, but that he and Sandusky wrestled in the basement during his visits there. The accuser testified that, during one such wrestling session, Sandusky pulled down the boy’s gym shorts and performed oral sex on him, which then happened repeatedly.

He testified that he performed oral sex on Sandusky toward the end of their relationship. The accuser also said that Sandusky touched his genitals while they were in an outdoor pool on Penn State’s campus.

Victim 10 testified that he stopped spending time with Sandusky after an incident in Sandusky’s car in which Sandusky allegedly asked the boy to perform oral sex on him.

Sandusky allegedly became displeased after the boy declined the request, and the boy told his foster mother than he did not want to spend any more time with Sandusky.

In connection with the case, four prominent Penn State employees, including the longtime football head coach Joe Paterno and Penn State University president, Graham B. Spanier, have lost or stepped away from their jobs. Penn State has announced that it would donate $1.5 million from its appearance in the TicketCity Bowl to two groups that work with sex-crime victims.

Officers led Sandusky from his home in handcuffs, and a judge later set bail at $250,000 cash, a spokesman for Attorney General Linda Kelly. Sandusky had yet to post bail.

The arrest of Sandusky, who was out on bail from the previous accusations, again threw national attention on a scandal that shook the university and the multi-billion dollar world of U.S. college sports.

The new charges stem from allegations by two men, identified as Victims 9 and 10, who testified before a grand jury about alleged abuse by Sandusky when they were children, Kelly said in a statement.

As with the other eight purported victims, the two newest accusers met Sandusky through The Second Mile, a charity he founded for disadvantaged youth, she said.

After retirement, Sandusky hosted many summer football camps and was active in The Second Mile, a children's charity he founded in State College, Pennsylvania in 1977.

President George H. W. Bush praised the group as a "shining example" of charity work in a 1990 letter, one of that president's much-promoted "Thousand points of light" encouragements to volunteer community organizations.

Citing Sandusky's work with The Second Mile charity to provide care for foster children, then U.S. Senator Rick Santorum honored Sandusky with an Angels in Adoption award in 2002.

Ex-Eagles head coach Dick Vermeil, current Eagles head coach Andy Reid, R.R.M. Carpenter, III, former Eagles owner, Matt Millen from ESPN, actor Mark Wahlberg, Arnold Palmer, and football player Franco Harris, among others, served on the Honorary Board of Second Mile.

Sandusky took an interest in the children, He took them to Penn State games and gave them gifts and money, she said. Affection such as hugging and tickling "escalated to sexual assaults," Kelly said.

Sandusky, 67, a two-time national college football assistant coach of the year, has maintained his innocence.

The scandal led to the firing of Spanier and Sandusky's longtime boss, legendary head football coach Joe Paterno, who were told about a year 2002 incident involving Sandusky and a boy in a shower at a Penn State locker room but did not report it to police.

Sandusky, who retired as Penn State defensive coordinator in 1999, was taken to the Center County Correctional Facility for processing. Even if he posts bail later, he would be subject to electronic monitoring and house arrest, officials said. He would be barred from contacting the accusers and from unsupervised contact with minors.

Sandusky now faces an additional four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, one count of indecent assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of children, all felonies, and three related misdemeanors, Kelly said.

Some of the felony charges carry penalties of up to 20 years each in prison. He already faced life in prison if convicted on the previous charges.

Victim 9 told the grand jury that abuse occurred during overnight stays at Sandusky's home and in a swimming pool and Jacuzzi of a State College-area hotel, when he was 11 or 12 years old, Kelly said. The two had met in 2004 at a summer camp organized by The Second Mile.

Victim 10, who was referred to The Second Mile in 1997 when he was 10 years old, testified that wrestling sessions in the basement of Sandusky's home escalated to Sandusky performing oral sex on him, Kelly said.

Another incident occurred at a pool on the Penn State campus, and once in a car Sandusky exposed himself and requested oral sex, Kelly said.

Child Sex Abuse Alleged in Syracuse

In a similar event, a longtime Syracuse University assistant basketball coach stands accused of abusing young boys.

Over the course of nine years, former ball boy Bobby Davis told his story of sexual abuse at the hands of Syracuse University assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine to the police, the college, the local newspaper and a national TV network.

Each time, either he was too late or his story could not be proved. When he went public again in November 2011 he was maligned by Hall of Fame college basketball coach Jim Boeheim as an opportunist and a liar.

A top law enforcement official became the first to say publicly he believed Davis was a victim and Fine had abused him.

At his news conference to explain that the statute of limitations would keep him from conducting an investigation, Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick addressed Davis directly.

Former Syracuse University assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine

“Bobby, I’m sorry it took so long,” he said. “I wish I had met you as a prosecutor in 2002. Even more importantly, I wish I had met you as a prosecutor back in the 1980s. We wouldn’t be here today.”

Davis, his stepbrother Michael Lang and a third man, Zach Tomaselli, of Lewiston, Maine, say Fine preyed on them when they were boys.

The statute of limitations expired five years after Davis and Lang say they were molested. But the federal statute of limitations in place in 2002, when Tomaselli says he was abused by Fine in a Pittsburgh hotel room, allowed a victim to bring charges until he was 25. Tomaselli is now 23.

Fitzpatrick, however, said school and travel records may undercut Tomaselli’s account that Fine molested him in a Pittsburgh hotel room in 2002.

Fine’s lawyers, Donald Martin and Karl Sleight, said in a statement that it appears “that there is proof that Tomaselli fabricated this allegation.” Tomaselli’s phone rang unanswered Wednesday.

Tomaselli also is charged in Maine with molesting a teenage boy and said this week that he’ll plead guilty.

The 65-year-old Fine, who had been Boeheim’s top assistant since 1976, has adamantly denied wrongdoing.

The U.S. attorney’s office is investigating and has seized computers, cameras, phones and records during searches of his office, home and locker.

Even with the support of the district attorney, neither Lang nor Davis can bring civil action against Fine.

The statute of limitations in New York on bringing a civil suit for child sexual abuse is five years after the victim turns 18. New York lawmakers are again considering a measure to lift it or open a one-year window for older incidents that, if approved, would open the way for a civil suit by Davis or Lang.

Davis went to the Syracuse Post-Standard newspaper in 2002 and ESPN in 2003; neither media outlet could corroborate his claims.

He went to the police, too, in 2002, and a detective told him the statute of limitations had expired. Three years later, he went to the university; Syracuse had its lawyers do an internal investigation and says it, too, could not verify Davis’ accusations.

Then, on Nov. 17, with the country still caught up in the child sex abuse scandal at Penn State, where a former assistant football coach is accused of molesting 10 boys, Davis came forward on ESPN.

Lang came forward. Ten days later, Tomaselli spoke out. That day, on Nov. 27, ESPN aired a tape in which a woman it identified as Bernie Fine’s wife tells Davis she knew “everything” that was going on.

Tomaselli, of Lewiston, told the AP that he sexually abused the boy when the victim was 13 and 14 years old. Tomaselli said he knew the boy and worked as a counselor at a camp the boy attended.

Now that he's receiving counseling, Tomaselli said he understands that he was subconsciously grooming the boy for a relationship, as is often the case with pedophiles. He said he's glad that he was caught before the abuse became worse, so that he can get help.

Tomaselli, at 23 years old, became the third man to level sexual abuse allegations against Bernie Fine when he told police in Syracuse, New York that Fine first molested him in a Pittsburgh hotel room in 2002.

He said Fine - who has denied any wrongdoing but was fired by Syracuse University - showed him porn, fondled him and watched him shower naked.

"The only thing that transpired was the same stuff that happened to me," Tomaselli said of his relationship with the teenage boy in Maine. "This kid has been through a lot because of the way I controlled him and abused him.

Tomaselli has pleaded not guilty to 11 charges including gross sexual assault, tampering with a victim and unlawful sexual contact.

But he said he anticipates that he'll plead guilty in Superior Court and that a plea bargain is in the works. The plea bargain calls for him to serve three years, or perhaps less, in prison and to register as a sex offender for life, he said.

"I don't really see any other way at this point," he said.

Tomaselli's lawyer went to court last week seeking to suppress his confession to police. Defense lawyer Justin Leary said the confession was coerced by a detective after a lengthy interview, and the judge hadn't ruled on the motion.

Tomaselli said he was "sick of hiding behind my attorney." Leary declined comment on his client's comments to the AP. Tomaselli also has said that he was abused by his father, Fred Tomaselli, and that he went to police about it in June in upstate New York. No charges were filed, and Fred Tomaselli said the allegations were "totally unfounded."

Zach Tomaselli said he's taking responsibility and doesn't want to blame Fine or his father for his actions in Lewiston, where he lives with his grandmother.

Tomaselli said he and the victim disagree on some details but most of the accusations were true. He said he fondled the boy once when the boy was 13 and a couple more times when he was 14.

"Pretty much everything he said is absolutely right," Tomaselli said.

Tomaselli said the relationship was consensual and there were no threats.

He acknowledged, however, that he created a fake Facebook account to manipulate the victim and that he even allowed the victim to believe the Facebook friend died of cancer. He said his judgment was hampered by a powerful narcotic, Oxycodone, which he said he was taking for severe headaches.

''It's unreal the stuff I did," Tomaselli said. "I'm going to get better from this. I'm going to get counseling."

Meanwhile, out of the state of Colorado, a heralded former Arapahoe Country Sheriff had bail set at 500,000 in allegations that he traded drugs for sex and was held in the jail named after him.

Former Arapahoe Sheriff Sullivan Built Long-Term Ties With Young Meth-Using Gay Men

Former Arapahoe County Sheriff Patrick Sullivan is pictured here being released from the Patrick J. Sullivan Jail in Colorado with a reduced bail from $500,000 to $50,000. An unidentified women in a Toyota 4Runner backs up to the jail's loading dock to pick Sullivan up.

He called himself their guardian.

He took them shopping, threw his weight around when people tried to give them trouble, helped them get jobs and get out of jail.

For decades, former Arapahoe County Sheriff Patrick Sullivan Jr. was one of the Denver area's most recognizable lawmen, a crusader against crime so respected that the county named its jail after him.

But this week, a new picture of Sullivan has emerged in court records and through interviews: one of a 68-year-old who developed years-long relationships with vulnerable, sometimes-homeless young men, acting as their protector and providing them methamphetamine in exchange for sex.

Sullivan was arrested Nov. 29, 2011 in an undercover sting in Aurora, Colorado. He was held on $500,000 bail on felony charges of possession of methamphetamine, distribution of methamphetamine, attempting to influence a public servant and a misdemeanor count of solicitation of prostitution.

Neither Sullivan, his family nor his attorney has responded to repeated questions from The Denver Post about the charges and associated allegations.

Many questions remain - including where Sullivan met most of the young men.

But the boyfriend of a 27-year-old who died earlier this year said Sullivan provided the men he allegedly associated with with something they didn't have: power and stability.

All of the men were in their 20s and 30s, in trouble with the law and either using methamphetamine or hanging out with people who do.

"It's hard to say if he was using them as much as they were probably using him," Andrew Pino told 9News.

Among the young men was Pino's boyfriend, Sean Moss, who was 27 years old when he was found dead in January in the South Platte River in Denver, with methamphetamine and the club drug GHB in his system.

According to an autopsy report, he had a history of bipolar disorder "with prior suicidal ideation and possible prior suicide attempts."

He also had a 2008 arrest for drugs in Denver in which formal charges were never filed, and, according to two websites, Moss had starred in 17 gay pornographic movies.

Ongoing Relationships

But in the case of Moss, it's clear from public records that Sullivan knew him as far back as 2007, when he interceded to help the young man obtain a job as a security officer at Overland High School.

The job would be short-lived - Moss quit after a little more than three weeks - but Sullivan also took an interest in him long after his employment ended.

Court records show that after Moss died, Sullivan placed a phone call to notify the bondsman who had bailed him out of jail after a domestic-violence arrest.

Sullivan also spent time with three young men living in a Centennial home, all of them with criminal records and allegedly using meth.

One of the men had lived with Sullivan for a time - the former sheriff, according to court records, held power of attorney for the 34-year-old disabled man and cashed his Social Security checks for him.

Like Moss, that man had a Denver drug arrest in 2009 in which charges were never filed.

Sullivan's relationship with that man turned volatile, and at one point Sullivan obtained a restraining order against him.

Sullivan complained that the man refused to get out of bed to go to a meeting at social services, swore at Sullivan and his wife, and physically assaulted Sullivan, both that day and on a previous occasion at an Englewood motel.

By late summer the two were on better terms, and Sullivan became a frequent visitor to the Centennial home where the disabled man and two other young men rented rooms.

Derek Hendrickson and Dillon Grilley agreed to let the three young men move in because they needed help paying the mortgage on Hendrickson's home, and a mutual friend said the three men needed a place to stay.

Hendrickson and Grilley soon regretted the decision because the three men were using meth, Grilley said last week.

He and Hendrickson also suspected the men were working as prostitutes, because different men would visit the home each night and go into the three men's bedrooms for a few hours.

Sullivan would take the three men shopping and drive them other places. He told Grilley he was a kind of guardian to them, Grilley said.

"I was afraid"

When Grilley and Henderson tried to evict the men, Sullivan objected, waving his cane in the air and giving Grilley a copy of "renter's rights" and other housing laws, Grilley said.

"His job, it seemed to me, was to keep me in check so (the other three men) could do what they wanted," Grilley, 25, said. "I looked up (Sullivan's) career, and he had a lot of clout. I was afraid he'd make one call and I'd get locked up."

On the September night when Grilley got fed up and called the police on Sullivan - prompting the larger police investigation - Grilley said the former sheriff held a badge to the 25-year-old's face and told him, "I am the police."

Grilley was arrested that night after one of the roommates told police that Grilley had assaulted him a week earlier. He is scheduled to appear in court on the charge this week.

Also arrested that night was the disabled man, for violating the restraining order that Sullivan apparently didn't realize was still in effect.

When Grilley and the young man went to court a few days later, Sullivan was there, seated in the audience, Grilley said.

Police reports also depict a bizarre scene when Sullivan tried to bail out the disabled man. According to the reports, Sullivan waved court documents around, repeatedly pulled on a locked door to try to get into an administrative area and threatened to file a complaint.

Now that Sullivan is in jail, Grilley couldn't be more pleased.

"He's disgusting," he said. "I'm happy to see him locked up."

Transit of Mars: December 5, 2011
Location: Denver, Colorado
click on horoscope to enlarge

The chart above shows sunrise over Denver, Colorado on the morning of Monday, December 5, 2011. Note the position of Mars, in the mundane Ninth house in semi-square aspect to a rising Saturn, in Libra, following Mars.

Issues of detailed investigations bringing down major drug and child sex rings with powerful and prominent people involved, such as police, politicians and sports figures with high profiles.

In this particular location over Colorado, transiting Uranus has just crossed over the Imum Coeli (4th mundane house) where the degrees of tropical Aries are now in play.

Mars plays a role showing with shocking developments coming from the inside of the residences of the accused such as child sex porn along with further allegations of sex with underage children by prominent members of the community.

This is seen by the position of the transiting Vertex in Cancer, square to transiting Saturn in Libra and in semi-square to transiting Mars while the Vertex trines Uranus in Aries.

The Vertex in the late degrees of Cancer is applying to a tight square with transiting Jupiter, retrograde at the 0-degree Taurus point.

The recent transit of a debilitated Mercury in Sagittarius by conjunction to the Dragon's Head (north lunar node) is met by the Sun over most regions, including Denver, with the Dragon's Tail setting in tropical Gemini in the west with the Dragon's Head rising in Sagittarius in the east.

This leads to the December 10, 2011 Lunar Eclipse

The Moon, at 18-Gemini, sets in the chart above as it is then eclipsed by the rising Sun in the west. The effects of the events of late November will see a strong week between Dec. 10-17 of recriminations, revelations and reactions to the sickening and sad events.

The lunar eclipse of Dec. 10, 2011 also foreshadows the events to come in spring 2012 relating to allegations of gay sex, pedophile crimes, drugs and abuses of power by high-profile people. This is seen by the transits of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto.

The strength of Sagittarius rising in fire trine to the Fourth mundane house in Aries shows sudden, impulsive and often shocking developments on high profile cases just coming to light in the lead up to the Christmas holidays.

Uranus Direct In Tropical Aries

Also on December 10, transiting Uranus, which has been retrograde since July 9-10, 2011 will station direct on December 10 at the 0-degree Aries point.

The movement of Uranus over the vernal equinox point along with the inclinations of the Dec. 10, 2011 Full Moon and lunar eclipse show increased seismic activity with powerful earthquakes along with storms and climate events in December.

Caution is advised.

Uranus is direct until July 13, 2012. Until that time, Uranus will make significant progress through the first 8-degrees of tropical Aries, officially opening the first of seven (7) exact planetary squares to Pluto in Capricorn on June 24, 2012.

The inclinations and effects of Uranus direct call on people to exercise patient, prudence and practicality as the fiery impulses of Uranus' electrical and maverick inclinations combine with the hardness of Pluto's transit in Capricorn.

I continue to advise those who heed astrological forecasts to think before acting and to use caution on land, sea and air. Travel is unfavorable for the masses throughout most of 2012. Plan every aspect of your trip to gain the advantage of deciding if it is worth traveling.
~

Before we return to the transit of Uranus as the planet prepares to station direct on 10 December 2011, let's first turn our attention to the global economy, now on life support with major economic events to come in 2012 that everyone should now be preparing for in earnest...

A Great Recession To Become The Great Depression?

Mundane Forecast By
Theodore White, mundane Astrolog.S

In previous editions of Global Astrology I have forecasted that the great recession much of the world has experienced since 2008 will soon become a Depression, according to my mundane calculations.

I have known this for over 12 years, but few believed, nor would even accept that by the early Twenty-Tens the globe would effectively suffer the start of a Great Depression.

Now, this 'great depression' while challenging for the early 21st century, was caused by the same greed, criminality and negligence that caused past economic depressions and recessions.

The difference with this one, in 2011-12 is that people are much better equipped; not only to fight back the economic depression, but to also to turn the future into positive and much better ways of living and doing business.

The global transits of this new decade surely will provide the pressure to do so, without a doubt.

The Uranus-Pluto squares, one of the mainstay outer planetary formations soon to be officially in effect, will keep the pressure for major reforms on full blast. There is no going back on these world transits. We must face them, and we shall.

Anyone reading this who can see the trends that have taken place over the last three years should easily be able to now see the writing on the wall. It is time to prepare for the next 10 years of this new decade; especially the next 4-7 years.

Views Of The Bad News

Unemployment and underemployment - combined - are now at levels not seen since the start of Great Depression years of the 1930s. It is known that 23-25% of people in the United States are out of work despite ‘official’ mainstream media reports that the unemployment rate remains under 10 percent.

The majority of popular culture news people hear is manufactured propaganda.

From the lies that humanity is the cause of global warming to the false economic reports of health returning to the global economy - anyone with their eyes open knows that things are not well at all and may become even worse.

The bankers and their enablers -  those who roam the halls of Washington and New York's Wall Street have caused tens of millions of distress throughout America and the world like this:

World transits show that within the next few years, economically, the end is near for the old economic system of many countries. This is what Kyle Bass, of Hayman Capital Management of Texas says in his latest letter to investors that yes, the 'end is surely near."

Bass' letter from November 30, 2011, titled "Imminent Defaults" spells out the countries he says are already too late to save economically.

Among the countries he lists are: "Greece, Italy, Japan, Ireland, Iceland, Japan, Spain, Belgium, Japan, Portugal, France and have we mentioned Japan?" Bass says.

What to him makes a country vulnerable?

"While there are many inputs that are functionally relevant," he says, "We look for a couple of warning signs. We move a nation out of risk-free category as soon as they spend more than 10% of their central government revenues on interest alone.

We also worry about debt loads that represent more than five (5) times the revenue of the responsible government. When these and other characteristics are met or exceeded - it can quickly move the country into checkmate."

Below are six (6) highlights of Bass' warning letter:

1) Total global credit market debt has grown at more than an 11% CAGR from $80 trillion to approximately $200 trillion. Over the same period of time global real GDP has grown at approximately 4% CAGR.

 Total Global Debt Levels
click on graphic to enlarge

2) The markets are already pointing to a break-up of the European Monetary Union. Bass points to absolute bond yields of Greece and Portugal and Italian-German spreads. Implied CDS ratings are oftentimes 6 -10 notches below Moody’s ratings. This dislocation often leads to multi-notch downgrades.

3) The EFSF is a circular reference. What this means is that the mechanism requires guarantees from each of the member countries. As members of the EFSF seek aid, the structure fails. This is akin to a group of people climbing a mountain who are linked together. As members fall the stress become incrementally greater for the other members also linked to them.

4) When (and not if) there is a default, the printing of money is better left to individual member countries as pre-default thinking does not address the structural problems.

5) Developed western economies have not defaulted since WWII, so there is an absolute faith in the perceived risk-free nature of sovereign debt. However, once defaults start the value at risk models will be “blown apart."

6) Japan will be on the front page soon. Finally.

After spending time blasting the EFSF and Europe, Bass turns back to Japan, and declares:

In it, he writes:

"Madoff's scheme collapsed for one primary reason - he had more investors exiting his scheme than entering. As soon as this happened it was over. According to this most recent census, the Japanese population peaked within the last few years at 127.9 million and has since lost 3 million.

Japan has one of the most homogeneous - and some might even call it xenophobic - societies of any developed nation in the world. It is no secret that there is no love lost between the Japanese and their neighbors, and therefore, immigration is an unlikely answer to a dwindling populace."

For proof of the dire economic global circumstances, consider this major development - announced in a press release by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve on November 30, 2011:

"The Bank of Canada, the Bank of England, the Bank of Japan, the European Central Bank, the Federal Reserve, and the Swiss National Bank are today announcing coordinated actions to enhance their capacity to provide liquidity support to the global financial system.

The purpose of these actions is to ease strains in financial markets and thereby mitigate the effects of such strains on the supply of credit to households and businesses and so help foster economic activity.

These central banks have agreed to lower the pricing on the existing temporary U.S. dollar liquidity swap arrangements by 50 basis points so that the new rate will be the U.S. dollar overnight index swap (OIS) rate plus 50 basis points.

This pricing will be applied to all operations conducted from December 5, 2011. The authorization of these swap arrangements has been extended to February 1, 2013.

In addition, the Bank of England, the Bank of Japan, the European Central Bank, and the Swiss National Bank will continue to offer three-month tenders until further notice.

As a contingency measure, these central banks have also agreed to establish temporary bilateral liquidity swap arrangements so that liquidity can be provided in each jurisdiction in any of their currencies should market conditions so warrant.

At present, there is no need to offer liquidity in non-domestic currencies other than the U.S. dollar, but the central banks judge it prudent to make the necessary arrangements so that liquidity support operations could be put into place quickly should the need arise.

These swap lines are authorized through February 1, 2013.

Federal Reserve Actions

The Federal Open Market Committee has authorized an extension of the existing temporary U.S. dollar liquidity swap arrangements with the Bank of Canada, the Bank of England, the Bank of Japan, the European Central Bank, and the Swiss National Bank through February 1, 2013.

The rate on these swap arrangements has been reduced from the U.S. dollar OIS rate plus 100 basis points to the OIS rate plus 50 basis points.

In addition, as a contingency measure, the Federal Open Market Committee has agreed to establish similar temporary swap arrangements with these five central banks to provide liquidity in any of their currencies if necessary.

Further details on the revised arrangements will be available shortly.

U.S. financial institutions currently do not face difficulty obtaining liquidity in short-term funding markets.

However, were conditions to deteriorate, the Federal Reserve has a range of tools available to provide an effective liquidity backstop for such institutions and is prepared to use these tools as needed to support financial stability and to promote the extension of credit to U.S. households and businesses."

THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS - FEDERAL RESERVE
NOVEMBER 30, 2011

[END OF PRESS RELEASE]
~

As one can see from the Federal Reserve's Press Release, things are getting worse and they know it.

If the powers that be (and were) had listened to mundane forecasts - and taken them seriously - many people would not be in the dire straights that now are just around the corner. The generational transition now underway will be overshadowed by the emergency of a worldwide economic depression.

This is in accordance with planetary transits. In this edition of Global Astrology, we will examine once again the inclinations of Uranus Square Pluto and the coming transit of Saturn in Scorpio.

COMMENTS ON THE FEDERAL RESERVE AND CENTRAL BANKS

Let's go now to Europe and examine the latest on the European Monetary Union and the rapidly declining health of the Euro currency.

The Cardinal Crisis
Demise Of The Euro?
By
Theodore White, mundane Astrolog.S

As part of my forecast that the world is now on the verge of a global depression, it has been my contention since before 1999 that the Euro was doomed right from the start.

In previous editions of Global Astrology some readers were surprised about my warnings about the breakup of the European Monetary Union.

I continued to warn EU policymakers of the astrological transits that made this coming breakup a certainty - considering the very bad choices made by member nations to shed their national currencies in favor of the Euro.

I clearly remember, back in May 1997, observing how dark swirling clouds settled over a central bank in Holland as European leaders met there to put the finishing touches on the Euro currency; due to officially start circulating electronically by January 1, 1999.

Consider this curious piece by the Economist:

EVEN as the euro zone hurtles towards a crash, most people are assuming that, in the end, European leaders will do whatever it takes to save the single currency.

That is because the consequences of the euro’s destruction are so catastrophic that no sensible policymaker could stand by and let it happen.

A Euro break-up would cause a global bust worse even than the one in 2008-09. The world’s most financially integrated region would be ripped apart by defaults, bank failures and the imposition of capital controls (see article).

The euro zone could shatter into different pieces, or a large block in the north and a fragmented south.

Amid the recriminations and broken treaties after the failure of the European Union’s biggest economic project, wild currency swings between those in the core and those in the periphery would almost certainly bring the single market to a shuddering halt.

The survival of the EU itself would be in doubt.

Yet the threat of a disaster does not always stop it from happening. The chances of the euro zone being smashed apart have risen alarmingly, thanks to financial panic; a rapidly weakening economic outlook and pig-headed brinkmanship.

The odds of a safe landing are dwindling fast

Markets, Manias & Panics?

Investors’ growing fears of a euro break-up have fed a run from the assets of weaker economies, a stampede that even strong actions by their governments cannot seem to stop. The latest example is Spain.

Despite a sweeping election victory on November 20th for the People’s Party, committed to reform and austerity, the country’s borrowing costs have surged again.

The government has just had to pay a 5.1% yield on three-month paper, more than twice as much as a month ago. Yields on ten-year bonds are above 6.5%.

Italy’s new technocratic government under Mario Monti has not seen any relief either: ten-year yields remain well above 6%.

Belgian and French borrowing costs are rising. Recently, an auction of German government bunds flopped.

The panic engulfing Europe’s banks is no less alarming. Their access to wholesale funding markets has dried up, and the interbank market is increasingly stressed, as banks refuse to lend to each other.

Firms are pulling deposits from peripheral countries’ banks. This back-door run is forcing banks to sell assets and squeeze lending; the credit crunch could be deeper than the one Europe suffered after Lehman Brothers collapsed.

Add the ever greater fiscal austerity being imposed across Europe and a collapse in business and consumer confidence, and there is little doubt that the euro zone will see a deep recession in 2012 - with a fall in output of perhaps as much as 2%.

That will lead to a vicious feedback loop in which recession widens budget deficits, swells government debts and feeds popular opposition to austerity and reform. Fear of the consequences will then drive investors even faster towards the exits.

Past financial crises show that this downward spiral can be arrested only by bold policies to regain market confidence. But Europe’s policymakers seem unable or unwilling to be bold enough.

The much-ballyhooed leveraging of the euro-zone rescue fund agreed on in October 2011 is going nowhere. Eurozone leaders have become adept at talking up grand long-term plans to safeguard their currency - more intrusive fiscal supervision, new treaties to advance political integration.

But they offer almost no ideas for containing today’s conflagration.

Germany’s cautious chancellor, Angela Merkel, can be ruthlessly efficient in politics: witness the way she helped to pull the rug from under Silvio Berlusconi. A credit crunch is harder to manipulate.

Along with leaders of other creditor countries, she refuses to acknowledge the extent of the markets’ panic (see article). The European Central Bank (ECB) rejects the idea of acting as a lender of last resort to embattled, but solvent, governments.

The fear of creating moral hazard, under which the offer of help eases the pressure on debtor countries to embrace reform, is seemingly enough to stop all rescue plans in their tracks.

Yet that only reinforces investors’ nervousness about all Eurozone bonds, even Germany’s, and makes an eventual collapse of the currency more likely.

This cannot go on for much longer. Without a dramatic change of heart by the ECB and by European leaders, the single currency could break up within weeks.

Any number of events, from the failure of a big bank to the collapse of a government to more dud bond auctions, could cause its demise.

In the last week of January 2012, Italy must refinance more than €30 billion ($40 billion) of bonds. If the markets balk, and the ECB refuses to blink, the world’s third-biggest sovereign borrower could be pushed into default.

Perils of Brinkmanship?
German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy

Can anything be done to avert disaster? The answer is still yes, but the scale of action needed is growing even as the time to act is running out.

The only institution that can provide immediate relief is the ECB. As the lender of last resort, it must do more to save the banks by offering unlimited liquidity for longer duration against a broader range of collateral.

Even if the ECB rejects this logic for governments - wrongly, in our view - large-scale bond-buying is surely now justified by the ECB’s own narrow interpretation of prudent central banking.

That is because much looser monetary policy is necessary to stave off recession and deflation in the euro zone. If the ECB is to fulfil its mandate of price stability, it must prevent prices falling.

That means cutting short-term rates and embarking on “quantitative easing” (buying government bonds) on a large scale. And since conditions are tightest in the peripheral economies, the ECB will have to buy their bonds disproportionately.

Vast monetary loosening should cushion the recession and buy time. Yet reviving confidence and luring investors back into sovereign bonds now needs more than ECB support, restructuring Greece’s debt and reforming Italy and Spain - ambitious though all this is.

It also means creating a debt instrument that investors can believe in. And that requires a political bargain: financial support that peripheral countries need in exchange for rule changes that Germany and others demand.

This instrument must involve some joint liability for government debts. Unlimited Eurobonds have been ruled out by Mrs Merkel; they would probably fall foul of Germany’s constitutional court.

But compromises exist, as suggested this week by the European Commission.

One promising idea, from Germany’s Council of Economic Experts, is to mutualize all Euro-zone debt above 60% of each country’s GDP, and to set aside a tranche of tax revenue to pay it off over the next 25 years.

Yet Germany, still fretful about turning a currency union into a transfer union in which it forever supports the weaker members, has dismissed the idea.

This attitude has to change, or the Euro will break up. Fears of moral hazard mean less now that all peripheral-country governments are committed to austerity and reform. Debt mutualization can be devised to stop short of a permanent transfer union.

Mrs. Merkel and the ECB cannot continue to threaten feckless economies with exclusion from the euro in one breath and reassure markets by promising the euro’s salvation with the next. Unless she chooses soon, Germany’s chancellor will find that the choice has been made for her.

Reuters reported that Standard & Poor's warned that it could cut the credit ratings of the European Union and large euro-zone banks if a mass downgrade of euro-zone countries materializes.

S&P said it may downgrade some or all 17 euro-zone countries if EU leaders fail to agree on a solution for the region's debt crisis during a planned December 8, 2011 summit.

The potential downgrade of the European Union has no impact on the ratings of other EU countries that are not part of the euro zone, a spokesman for S&P said.

However, the move would likely increase the EU's borrowing costs. This would make it much  more costly for the EU to fund financial aid programs for member nations.

S&P placed the European Union's AAA credit rating on 'credit watch negative' -  and noted that euro-zone members, or countries that are part of the region's monetary union, contributed about 62 percent of the EU's total budgeted revenues in fiscal year 2011.

"Our review will focus on the financial ability of euro-zone member states to support the EU's debt service should the institution face a period of financial distress," S&P analysts Frank Gil and Moritz Kraemer said in a report.

If euro-zone countries are downgraded, the European Union could have its rating cut by one notch, they added. The European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community borrow on capital markets under a joint program to issue up to 80 billion euros in medium-term notes in order to finance member states through various channels.

In another follow-up to its warning S&P said some of the euro zone's largest banks, such as BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank, could also have their ratings cut following a potential downgrade of euro zone countries.

S&P's downgrade warnings for key euro-zone countries has increased pressure on policymakers to find a solution to the debt crisis quickly.

The move drew strong criticism from European governments. They accuse the ratings agencies of unduly inserting themselves into the 'political process.'

But many market participants welcomed the move, saying that by signaling more clearly their possible actions, ratings agencies are reducing market uncertainty.

"(The agencies) became activist and they became proactive," said Enrique Alvarez, head of strategy at IDEAglobal in New York. "In past crises, I don't think that ratings agencies were willing to telegraph as much information as they are now to the markets.

"This is very favorable for market transparency and it's very favorable overall to investors because there will be no shock next week if European policymakers don't come up with something valuable this weekend," added Alvarez.

As the major year of 2012 looms ahead, expectations out of Brussels, Belgium for a EU debt deal by December 8-9, 2011 does not calm fears of the possibility of collapse of the European Monetary Union.
~

Roger Craine, emeritus professor of economics at the University of California at Berkeley was asked if he thinks the Euro will survive:

"In a word no. The Euro will die a bloody death that damages Europe and the world. The only question is when. I don’t expect the Euro to last another year.

The grim reality that the Union has no credible plan to hold the euro together is beginning to sink in. Bond speculators, like lions after a herd of water buffaloes, have picked off the weakest.

Now the jackals are arguing over whether a 50 percent loss on Greek sovereign bonds is a default. Some banks fear a Greek default because they hold Greek bonds and a default would force them to recognize the loss.

And the writers of credit default swaps that insure bondholders against loss from default don’t want a default because they would have to make good on their contracts. Of course, the owners of credit default swaps want their insurance to cover the 50 percent loss.

Greece is a weak, small country on the periphery. It should not and cannot cause the Euro to collapse. But the herd has panicked and scattered.

Now the loins can kill the isolated strong, and the hyenas and jackals will devour the remains. That’s how the Euro dies. And the process is well underway.

The leaders of the water buffalo herd (Germany and other northern European countries) still refuse to recognize that virtuous austerity can’t solve the problem.

Investors and speculators rightly suspect that Italy, Spain and maybe even France are vulnerable even though their fundamentals are strong. Investors want to reduce their exposure to European debt.

The Vanguard Money Market Fund decided not to roll over a short term loan - of $1.6 billion - to a French bank because they feared that the bank holds too much European sovereign debt.

Sophisticated residents in the Euro zone are shifting their bank deposits to safe havens - like Switzerland and the U.S. - because they know that when the collapse occurs, the governments will freeze deposits to stop bank runs.

And speculators betting on the collapse feed the fire. This already has set off a vicious cycle where bond rates rise and the carrying cost on an inherently solvent country’s debts rises to where they in fact are insolvent.

The spread between Italian and German ten year government bonds rates is 5.5 percent, and it is 4.5 percent for Spain. And on Nov. 21, the German Treasury auction was under-subscribed. Investors fear European debt.

Maybe if the bulls - read Germany - had acted courageously six months ago, they could have driven off the predators. But they didn’t. Now it is too late.

European governments cannot credibly guarantee any large economy’s debt (read Italy or Spain).

The feeble attempt at a Eurobond Bailout fund - which the Europeans hoped would be largely financed by foreign investors - is a failure and a joke.

The European Central Bank (ECB) now is the only hope. It has the one resource - the ability to print money - to credibly stop the run on the Euro.

But they have steadfastly maintained that their job is price stability and that they will not support the price of a member nation’s sovereign debt.

So even if rationality suddenly invades the ECB - what must the ECB do?

They must convince the predators and the world that now they are serious.

Not a chance."

The Cardinal Crisis
Thunder On the Left, Storms On The Right
Rising Unrest: 2012-2015

Forecast By
Theodore White, mundane Astrolog.S

The effects of the great Recession and now, a Great Depression will have become more profound in the next four years worldwide.

The decline of unions from the attacks of mostly Republican administrations over the last decade along with the strenuous employer opposition combined with off-shoring of American, British and Canadian jobs to cheaper wages overseas will have become accelerated in the coming Depression.

Widespread unemployment will have caused a deep drop in union membership with mass union strikes on the way - especially in western nations.

Greek Austerity To Be Passed By Caretaker Government?

It was reported by Reuters that Greece's coalition government will pass an austerity 2012 budget aimed at shrinking Greece's debt mountain with tax hikes and spending cuts.

This, as Greeks continue to clash with Athens police outside the doors of parliament.

The three major parties that back technocrat caretaker Prime Minister Lucas Papademos are said to be ready to vote for mass austerity - a package of deeply unpopular measures designed to cut Greek's deficit and show foreign lenders that Greece is sorting out its finances.

"Successful implementation of this budget will restore the country's international credibility and create the conditions to rescue the economy," Papademos told Greek lawmakers. "We can't afford to keep whining ...the targets are ambitious but feasible."

One of the leaders, Greek conservative party leader Antonis Samaras, made clear that his support was solely aimed at rescuing Greece from immediate default. He vowed to soften tax steps and boost growth measures if he wins power in elections expected in February 2012.

"Our disagreements remain... we are approving the budget because it is an absolute priority to safeguard the viability of Greek debt," said Samaras, whose New Democracy party is the front-runner to win the next election but fall short of an absolute majority.

Samaras, who has long opposed the EU/IMF austerity policies imposed by his Socialist rival, former Greek prime minister George Papandreou, under a 110-billion Euro bailout agreed in 2010, made clear he will insist on snap elections in February, after Athens clinches a bond swap deal to cut the country's debt.

As lawmakers debated the budget, hundreds of masked youths hurled petrol bombs and clashed with Greek police outside parliament when protesters marched to mark the police shooting of a student in 2008, which led to the worst riots in decades and helped topple the then conservative government.

Greeks protest austerity

Led by caretaker Prime Minister Lucas Papademos, the Greek parliament approved the budget late on Tuesday which commits to unpopular cutbacks demanded by EU partners in return for fresh loans.

The budget is designed to cut the deficit from a projected 9 percent of GDP this year to 5.4 percent in 2012.

Mr. Papademos had earlier urged lawmakers to vote for the economic blueprint, which he said would begin to reverse disastrous policies that had saddled each Greek with a debt of over €30,000 or £25,780 British Pounds.

"Our actions will determine the country's economic future, not only for 2012 but for the entire decade," said Mr. Papademos, who took over in November 2011 with the task of ratifying a key Eurozone debt deal and holding early elections.

The PM, a former European Central Bank deputy chief, also insisted that Greece's position in the European Union and the euro was "non-negotiable".

"Our place in Europe is non-negotiable. The Greek people will defend it in every way possible," he said.

"Europe and our common currency remain, despite the crisis, one of the noblest achievements of recent history."

One of the leaders, conservative party leader Antonis Samaras, made clear his support was solely aimed at rescuing Greece from immediate default and vowed to soften tax steps and boost growth measures if he wins power in elections expected in February 2012.

"Our disagreements remain... we are approving the budget because it is an absolute priority to safeguard the viability of Greek debt," said Mr Samaras, whose New Democracy party is the front-runner to win the next election but fall short of an absolute majority.

Mr Samaras, who has long opposed the EU/IMF austerity policies imposed by his Socialist rival, former prime minister George Papandreou, under a €110 billion bailout agreed in 2010, made clear that he will insist on snap elections in February 2012, after Athens clinches a bond swap deal to cut the country's debt.

As lawmakers debated the budget, hundreds of people hurled petrol bombs and clashed with Greek police outside parliament when protesters marched to mark the police shooting of a student in 2008 that led to the worst riots in decades and helped topple the then Greek conservative government.

The violence broke out as thousands of pupils, students and leftist supporters staged separate demonstrations. Protesters wearing gas masks and goggles threw firebombs and marble shards broken off from nearby buildings at police, who responded with tear gas and stun grenades to push them back.

Nearly 20 people, including over a dozen officers, were injured during an earlier bout of midday clashes and police said they had made 11 arrests. Police held another 10 people in Thessaloniki, Greece after smaller-scale incidents. Demonstrations were also held in Volos and other Greek cities.

The Greek caretaker government had warned during the budget debate that the stakes could not be higher for the country amid a debt crisis which has upended the economy and threatened the Eurozone despite the best efforts of the EU, IMF and Athens to stabilize its finances.

"A real earthquake is occurring in Europe at this moment," said conservative leader Antonis Samaras, one of the political partners backing the interim government set up last month to secure approval of a Eurozone debt deal.

"We don't know where it will lead (so) we are in a hurry for Greece to capitalize as much as it can today," said Samaras, whose party holds a solid lead in the polls ahead of snap elections expected early next year.

Culture Minister Pavlos Geroulanos added: "Unemployment in our country has climbed to nearly 20 percent and seven in ten Greeks fear they will lose their jobs ... fear and insecurity over tomorrow have pinned down our society."

A leading labor expert warned that a decade of hardship lay ahead.

"The Greek population will undergo ten years of enormous sacrifice," Savvas Robolis, director of the labour institute of main Greek union GSEE, told the world media.

"This austerity policy has led to an absolute impasse," he said, warning that with no growth next year, Greece will have totaled five years of recession.

The vote was won easily, but it could not come at a more sensitive time for the Eurozone after Standard & Poor's warned it could cut its credit ratings on the bloc - throwing another twist into the European Debt Crisis.

Germany and France are leading the charge for major change in the way the bloc is run to ensure much tighter fiscal oversight from Brussels and reacted sharply saying they would push ahead with the needed reforms.

An EU summit planned for Dec. 8-9 is intended to agree deep institutional changes to stop the sovereign debt crisis that has pushed Greece, then Ireland, then Portugal into EU-IMF debt bailouts that now threatens the EU nations of Italy and Spain.

Greek Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos told the assembly that the budget, required by the EU and IMF in return for fresh rescue funds, would put government finances on a much sounder basis.

"This parliament has the chance to go down in the country's fiscal history as the first that reduced public debt," he said.

Prime Minister Lucas Papademos, a former European Central Bank deputy chief considered to be a safe pair of hands, leads a coalition government with more than 250 out of the 300 seats in parliament.

Assuming power in November 2011 after Socialist prime minister George Papandreou faced a parliamentary revolt over new austerity measures, Papademos was chosen to deliver the Greek side of the country's debt rescue bargain.

The key issue will be implementation after Greece missed deficit and debt targets laid down in a first EU and IMF rescue in May 2010 during a Mercury retrograde in Taurus and was then forced afterwards to seek even more help as the Greek economy slumped.

A second accord agreed in late October 2011 requires Greece to adopt even tougher austerity measures in return for new funding of 100 billion Euros and a controversial debt write-down deal with creditor banks worth 100 billion euros.

The accord also makes available 30 billion Euros to help local banks cover the losses on their holdings of Greek government bonds caused by the 50-percent bond write-down.

The budget puts the public deficit at 5.4 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2012, down from 9.0 percent this year, compared with the EU ceiling of 3.0 percent and the previous forecast for next year of 6.8 percent.

It is based on the Greek economy shrinking another 2.8 percent in a third year of recession, worse than the previous 2012 estimate of 2.5 percent, but still much better than the expected 5.5 percent contraction for 2011.

World transits show the caretaker government of Greece made its move to do something that former prime minister Papandreou finally proposed before he left office - leave the austerity vote to the Greek people.

The mistake of forcing through austerity in Greece before the Greek people could hold a referendum vote themselves before new government elections in February 2012 clearly shows the fear of a cadre of global bankers and bondholders, who refuse to take their so-called financial 'haircuts' - but would rather use the stale concept of 'moral hazard' to avoid the inevitable - at the expense of tens of millions of Greek people and all of Europe.

This leads into world transits to come. We now re-explore the Uranus-Pluto World Squares and examine the inclinations of the coming peregrine transit of Saturn in Scorpio.

The Cardinal Crisis
The Uranus-Pluto World Squares & Saturn in Scorpio
2012-2015
A Mundane Analysis
By

Theodore White, mundane Astrolog.S

So, what is going on? Well, a cadre of wealthy global bankers are playing a game of 'let's rule the world' without a clue as to what it is that they are doing.

Even with any kind of plan, the very fact that those who have money, wealth and power think that they actually 'run' anything in the world is not only sadly amusing, but wildly misled and sick indeed.

They rule over nothing - except their own fates into the many faces of perdition.

Mary continued again and said unto the Saviour:

"My Lord, if the faith and the mysteries shall have revealed themselves - now - therefore, if souls come into the world in many circuits and are neglectful of receiving mysteries, hoping that, if they come into the world at any other circuit, they will receive them, will they not then be in danger of not succeeding in receiving the mysteries?"

The Saviour answered and said unto his disciples:

"Herald unto the whole world and say unto men:

Strive thereafter that you may receive the mysteries of the Light in this time of affliction and enter into the Light-kingdom.

Join not one day to another, or one circuit to another, hoping that ye may succeed in receiving the mysteries if ye come into the world in another circuit.

"And these know not when the number of the perfect souls will be at hand.

For if the number of the perfect souls shall be at hand, I will now shut the gates of the Light, and no one from this hour onwards will enter in, nor will any one hereafter go forth.

For the number of the perfect souls is completed and the mystery of the First Mystery is completed, for the sake of which the universe has arisen - that is: I am that Mystery.

"And from this hour onwards no one will be able to enter into the Light and no one be able to go forth.

For at the completion of the time of the number of the perfect souls - before I have set fire to the world - in order that it may purify the æons, and the veils, and the firmaments, and the whole earth and also all the matter which are on it, mankind will be still existing.

"At that time then the Faith will reveal itself still more and the Mysteries in those days.

And many souls will come by means of the circuits of the changes of the body, and coming back into the world are some of those in this present time who have hearkened unto me, how I taught, who at the completion of the number of the perfect souls will find the mysteries of the Light and receive them and come to the gates of the Light and find that the number of the perfect souls is completed - which is the completion of the First Mystery and the Gnosis of the Universe.

And they will find that I have shut the Gates of the Light and that it is impossible that anyone should enter in or that any one should go forth from this hour.

"Those souls then will knock at the Gates of the Light, saying: 'Lord, open unto us!'

And I will answer unto them:

I know you not, whence you are.

And they will say unto me:

'We have received of thy mysteries and fulfilled thy whole teaching and you have taught us on the high ways.

And I will answer and say unto them:

"I know you not, who you are - you who are doers of iniquity and of evil even unto now.

Wherefore go into the Outer Darkness. And from that hour they will go into the outer darkness, there, where is howling and the grinding of teeth.

For this cause then, herald unto the whole world and say unto them:

'Strive thereafter, to renounce the whole world and the whole matter therein, that you may receive the Mysteries of the Light before the number of the perfect souls is completed - in order that they may not make you stop before the Gates of the Light and. lead you away into the outer darkness.'

"Now, therefore, who has ears to hear - let him hear."

When the Saviour had said this, Mary started forward again and said:

"My Lord, not only has my Light-man ears, but my soul has heard and understood all the words which you have said.

- Jesus Christ, The Pistis Sophia, Third Book, Chapter 125

In the midst of a brand new decade, a curious three-year period will soon be among us starting in the astrological year 2012.

Mundane astrology provides us with an excellent methodology to forecast, gain insight and understand the many dynamics at play in the world during times of important global transits and their inclinations on populations.

As the world emerges out of the previous Saturn-Uranus opposition with the ingress of Saturn in tropical Libra and Pluto in Capricorn, our entry into this new decade of the Twenty-Tens was solidified in 2010-11 with Jupiter and Uranus entering tropical Aries.

In response we have witnessed world events correspond to the motions and configurations of the giant outer transpersonal planets. We have entered a new age.

Our current era of 2011-12 is ruled by a Jupiter-Saturn opposition, the first since 1990-91, which continues to deepen a global economic crisis that began with the creation of bubble markets by the baby boomer establishment.

The bubble popped with the emergence of the Saturn-Uranus opposition of 2008-09 and was exacerbated by the arrival of the cardinal T-Square between Saturn, Uranus and Pluto in 2010.

The cultural, social and geopolitical implications of the inclinations of the planets by way of generational change has been most evident in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East where revolts, rebellions and revolutionary sentiments have been steadily picking up pace.

These are signs for mundane astrologers who look at the long-range implications by way of the world transits and the outer planets that signify history in the making.

I contend that we are in one such historical age.

The world transits concur. We are in what I call a 'synodic mundane age,' where the transits of Jupiter & Uranus at this time in late 2011, reflecting the years of 1927-28.

In addition, the synodic cycles of Mercury & Mars for 2011 show we are also in the period 1932-33.

What makes the Twenty-Tens challenging are what I call The Cardinal Crisis Years

This is because of the position of some of the outer planets in the cardinal Signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn in this new decade.

Saturn's transit from 2010 to October 2012 is exalted in tropical Libra, the Sign ruled by Venus with the function of the Mundane Seventh House governing matters from social acceptance, law, diplomacy, justice and the rules of society in determining that which is balanced, just and fair for all.

However, Saturn's position is opposed by Jupiter, swiftly moving through the constellation Aries into tropical Taurus, where Jupiter retrogrades from August 31, 2011 to Christmas Day 2011.

The Jupiter-Saturn opposition arrives at a bad time for a world attempting to recover from economic decline with inclinations that try to resist change when it is most needed, for the sake of continuing methods which are outdated and outworn.

The business environment of public and private institutions: fleeced from within, neglected and smothered by a outgoing baby boomer establishment in control of approximately 80 percent of the world's personal financial assets and 50 percent of its spending power, shows us that the ill effects of the Panic of 2007-08 are far from over.

Rebellions, Revolts & Revolutionary Sentiments

In the wake of the economic decline, the social stratum throughout much of the world is undergoing great changes on a daily basis. This is easy to observe when the outer planets are in major transit by Sign and configurations to one another relative to the Earth.

We are clearly within a major generational transition worldwide: the dying oligarchy born in the 1920s and their children of baby boomers had, since the year 1969, defined culture by way of their intergenerational ideological battles and wars for 42 years.

This was defined by the transit of Uranus through the Signs of Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces from 1969 to 2011.

With Uranus' entry into tropical Aries in 2011, that previous 42-year phase since 1969 ended. It also closed an entire 84-year cycle since 1927 - effectively bringing the 20th century to its conclusion by 2011.

That last 42-year cycle under Uranus closed many chapters on the baby boomer generation and that of their oligarchy parents, who had been the establishment from 1974-93.

That period of time had been defined by ideological cold war, stagflation, and the intense cultural/social battles which stressed both eastern and western society. The climax resulted in the end of the Soviet Union and the birth of the European Union.

The era of 1993-2011 was a unique period of time where in this writer's view many opportunities were lost in favor of ideology posing as principle, generational self-indulgence, short-sightedness, greed and widespread corruption.

This 19-year period was dominated by technological revolutions during what was called The Information Age - a time of destructuralization out of the post-modern Industrial Age and into what could have been a precursor into a potential utopia with the decline and fall of the Soviet Union and ideological cold war with the West.

But, what happened was something few predicted: rather than to take the many opportunities to improving world conditions, the baby boomer establishment from 1993 onwards used the next 18 years to espouse self-interest ideology as the mantle from where to fleece resources for nothing else than self-indulgence and gratification.

Baby Boomer hegemony over the children born in the 1960s/1970s (Generation X) was practiced out of contempt for the young at the expense of the young for no other reason than for the boomers to deny the facts of life - and that is aging.

The intergenerational contract was broken by the baby boomers, so that over the decades of the 1990s and 2000s, rather than advance the world with the ending of the Cold War, the boomer establishment went on a spending binge with the resources of other generations the likes never seen before on the planet.

As the establishment since 1993, the baby boomers have now arrived at a point where the world will move on past them and into the uncharted waters of this new century.

All major generational transitions correlate to the motions of the outer planets. In this case, the motions of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto signify that a new era is upon the world.

These changes do not take place without conflict, especially when conflicting interests, the status quo and inability to accept change when it arrives are ignored, denied or put off as we see the boomer generation doing.

The clashes we see in the world really stem from generational change. The battle is between those under the age of 52 against those over the age of 60.

The new elderly, the baby boomers, are in denial about aging and retirement and are demanding that no change take place.

We know throughout history that as a generation ages that many become rigid, unyielding and conservative in thought and action.

Thus, an aging society does not favor innovation and action into the future, but rather, desires to fight the passage of time rather than embrace it.

And, this is exactly what we are witnessing in the behavior of the boomer generation. Nonetheless, the world transits clearly show change is here.

The passage of time itself will resolve the hegemony and the consequences of the boomer generation.

The most intriguing of these changes will be seen with the Uranus/Pluto Square where in a three year period from 2012 to 2015, these two planets will perform seven (7) exact global cardinal squares.

Uranus Square Pluto

Talk about a powerful global transit by square aspect. The cardinal positions of Uranus in Aries square to Pluto in Capricorn began setting up in 2010 with Saturn involved by transit in the early degrees of Libra.

As Saturn moves on into tropical Scorpio by October 2012, the first of the Uranus-Pluto Squares will have already begun in earnest.  There will be seven (7) exact global squares within a three-year period (2012-2015) that certainly will be felt worldwide.

These world squares inspire he-and-cries, revolts, rebellions and revolutionary sentiments among populations, groups and individuals. The disruptions are those of outworn institutions (Pluto in Capricorn) from the sudden desire for change by action (Uranus in Aries.)

Aries, ruled by Mars, calls for action by way of Uranus' temperamental electric and sudden inclinations.

This grinds against Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, which demands practical structure and order by way of corporate/governmental institutions, but with Pluto in Sign, experiences transformation by way of phoenix.

The revolutionary sentiments they form can cause significant disruption in the lives of people. The trouble with Uranus-Pluto cardinal squares are that problems easily solved are made more difficult to resolve simply based on outdated modes of thinking and behavior.

The very lack of  application of good manners, class, ethics, morals, maturity, prudence and commonsense causes needless troubles.

During the years of the cardinal squares, particularly 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 it is not always the best time to force major.

Changes which are made will be based on the healthy concept of what truly constitutes the Economy - that is the well-being of people everyone: communities which form villages, towns, cities, states of entire countries.

Under Uranus' transit in square to Pluto in Capricorn we can expect large-scale forces to make impact on the lives of individuals with often dangerous situations. Past friendships and/or group associations can be severed by circumstances beyond one's control.

The years of 2012-2015 are years of a challenging set of circumstances forced by large-scale powers beyond the ability of many people to directly control. The majority of the problems stem from economic and generational forces.

Things will change as one generational establishment is put out to pasture and held responsible for their crimes. What the future will lead to next greatly depends on the common sense, vision and positivity of the next generation entering into power.

Those who do best with the Uranus-Pluto squares will be individuals and groups who are able to gracefully navigate these years well enough to succeed in their goals and objectives.

The Uranus/Pluto world square makes seven exact square aspects between 2012 to 2015, so events often include populations subjected to dangerous circumstances - mainly in large crowds and demonstrations that can be disrupted by violent police and military reactions.

We've seen signs of this already in North Africa, where populations battle against entrenched corrupt generational forces who refuse to step aside, nor allow for the changes that the planets clearly show are in order.

The violence of the Uranus/Pluto cardinal squares indicate more financial losses to come; especially among the oligarchy and aged establishment by way of joint finances, inheritances, corporate business, banking and insurance.

The power struggles of the boomer generation to maintain their status quo marks for a sustained cycle of adjustments amid powerful clashes between the old and emerging new generations.

Saturn factors in the mix as 'time keeper,' and in this function the planet will make its mark by transit in the constellation Scorpio.

Saturn in Scorpio
Peregrine Scorpio Years
2012-2015
Forecast By
Theodore White, mundane Astrolog.S

During the years of the seven-exact Uranus/Pluto world squares, transiting Saturn will begin its transit in tropical Scorpio on October 5, 2012 that will last to September 2015.

For a long time now, we have been living in an age where common sense has been a misnomer. There was nothing ‘common’ about having ‘sense’ – especially over the last 18-20 years.

From generational hegemony to political correctness, to cultural sarcasm, ideology, neglect, mistreatment of the young and extreme generational self-indulgence - society has been under attack by a baby boomers generation that claimed it was 'enlightened.'

That is now changing with the help of world transits. So, if you have not been in the habit of applying common sense to the important matters of the world – you’d better quickly get into the habit.

In the ‘signs of our times’ we continue to see and hear people propagandized by those who do not have the public’s best interests in mind – at all – and never did.

Nowhere is this most evident then in the economy - by way of banking, finance and real estate market.

We are in a time where a generational establishment, fueled by its angst over aging and fear of the future, continues to live in a fantasy world of their own creation – expecting everyone else to simply exist as zombies gulping down their ideological fantasy kool-aid while they rip off the economy.

By the time Saturn transits tropical Scorpio – fantasy time will be over.

In October 2012, transiting Saturn will make ingress into Scorpio. This is a significant ingress as Saturn leaves the Sign of its exaltation, Libra after two-and-one-half years.

Saturn’s transit in Scorpio can mean many things on a wide scale, as transpersonal planets so often do. Here's an outlook on Saturn's transit in Scorpio by Buddy Materna press:

"While Mars and Pluto are in tropical Capricorn they are forced into hard labor because Capricorn tells them to work hard, to dig, to make solid walls and to use all experience and skill possible in order to win for Mars, and to transform and change for Pluto.

Saturn when placed in their country is not so comfortable with his challenges. Capricorn is the place where Mars is exalted. Mars as a fighter and an aggressor is victorious through taking defensive measures.

Mars builds walls, and wears thick body armor while under Capricorn´s leadership, it fights a land battle using the hardiest of terrain to its advantage whether this be hill fort or mountain.

Saturn when in tropical Scorpio faces similar challenges, but while Mars is content to fight defensive battles on behalf of Capricorn, Saturn when placed in Scorpio is peregrine - having only terms in the last three degrees.

Saturn is forced by Scorpio into donning the mantle of war, which it dislikes, and fighting for its survival in some of the most inhospitable terrain.

The nature of Scorpio is that of water and so Saturn is forced in Scorpio´s terrain into using and utilizing water in order to construct its edifices.

Saturn is not a fiery hot tempered fighter like Mars, nor is he the mysterious invisible yet powerful figure that Pluto, or Hades represents though he does appreciate it when that power is beneficial to his undertakings.

The trait of Saturn is to be still, it is to be still, to meditate, mediate and to take responsibility, he is in no way a fighter, but a decision maker.

The nature of Scorpio is to kill, to destroy, to eliminate, but also to give renewal and life through its secret processes.

Old men do not fight wars. Young men with their blood and their ideals fight wars. Old men pass laws and constitutions, not only constitutions, but they draw the blueprint for the institutions which are to be built and which will serve to protect them, their families and their traditions for generations to come.

Old men care for their honor, for respect, for maintaining the respect of their children and their family name.

And so under the beam of Scorpio the old man must regenerate his burnt down and destroyed tradition, his church, his town hall, his heritage.

In one way Saturn´s opportunity in Scorpio is to have a say in making a brand new city plan, in making a new name for a family which was wiped out by natural disaster or by plague, or by the afflictions and mortifications which the tropical sign of Scorpio has a freedom to bring.

Saturn has age, has wisdom and wishes to meditate and to take pride in the achievements and the name that he has inherited or worked hard to raise, but Mars is the commander of Saturn in this placement.

Mars clads Saturn in war armor, and thankfully Saturn does not have to fight during the day time Sun as in Mars´s Aries daytime rulership, where he is in fall, but during Mars´s nighttime rule where Saturn´s cold nature is more accommodated for.

The idea of Saturn fighting is a difficult one especially with his exaltation being in the peace making tropical Libra. Saturn in fact is not strong enough to fight, to kill and to maim as Mars and Pluto would so have it in Scorpio.

Instead Saturn is seen to act defensively building not so much a wall, but a castle with a mote, with a water feature which is a barrier that is fixed and which is very difficult to destroy or remove.

In psychological terms of course the water is akin to creating an island, and so for any would be attacker the mote serves to destroy their emotional morale and forces them to give up on any form of attack barring a year long siege.

Saturn in Scorpio is not destined to lose battles as it is destined to lose in Aries, where the walls are knocked down by firepower and overwhelming force.

But one this is for sure in Scorpio the battles that Saturn does take up are the ones which are brought about because of the most abysmal abuse that is taken out against it.

The trouble for Saturn when travelling through the tough country of Scorpio is that it is hard to know where and when an attack is going to come, although it is fully aware that an attack is coming at some point.

It is said by modern astrology that this placement confers a strong desire nature and this is true since it is Scorpio which creates desire and Martian qualities in Saturn rather than the idea of Saturn dampening and blocking Scorpio´s natural energy.

The attacks to which Saturn must defend against in Scorpio are vicious and are in pursual of Saturn´s total destruction and death.

However, Scorpio also gives Saturn power in this position.

It is not the power which tired old Saturn is most happy with, but it is a power nonetheless which allows it to defeat any enemy, the power of Saturn here is both control over nuclear weapons, it is that psychological advantage of the mote, but also of resources which are unseen, and unknown even to Saturn until the moment of dire need.

Another scenario for Saturn here is that of being overwhelmed by forces which create a dire emotional situation for which it is not prepared.

This is the emotional shaking which leads to emotional self control, control of emotion, control of desire, control of Mars´s anger, lust, though of course “control” does not mean repression or negation, it means control, aqueducts control water to bring it and satisfy the city.

Control here means that Saturn focuses the anger and lust of Mars polishing them and making them work better. A stone aqueduct of pure water as opposed to a dirty stream is one possibility.

Saturn is either too young, or too old for the experience of death, the fear of which is a potent and destructive force for Saturn´s inexperience.

But destruction is definitely a part of Saturn´s experience here, it will be a destruction and a devastation that causes a great deal of anxiety and desolation.

This destruction can take form usually in the guise of the previous generation wiping out resources, or of the previous generation dying or disappearing in order to bring about misery.

Saturn in essence does not want war, he does not want death either. Scorpio brings both of these. Saturn wants Sunday roast with the family, turn up at church followed by whatever important and meaningful business which he carries out with respect through the rest of the week."

From economics and finance, to professional and personal affairs, the transit of Saturn in Scorpio from autumn 2012 to summer 2015 will feel longer than normal.

Saturn will enter tropical Scorpio October 5, 2012, just during the run-up to the 2012 presidential general election. After a two-year transit in Libra, this ingress of Saturn into the water sign of Scorpio is one to prepare for overall.

A planet like Saturn tends to crystallize the tone and tenor of the Sign it will transit, in this case, Scorpio.

Prior to Saturn’s entry, the planet Mars, exalted here, will transit among the stars of Scorpio from late August 2012 to October 6-7, 2012, just as Saturn enters Scorpio.

The time cycle we are in now in late autumn 2011, early winter 2012, extends to the end of August 2012.

While we are in the midst of the Cardinal Crisis transits in this decade, these interim transits are important, as they are helpful for those looking to make adjustments in the medium-range so that things can go smoother.

This cycle now, through to late August 2012, features the influence of the Jupiter-Saturn opposition: which is unfavorable for business and professional advancement as much as it is for better employment rates.

In the wake of the housing boom ponzi scheme and the bust of that market, real estate values continue to plummet – dragging the general economy down with it:

Unemployment rates remain stubbornly high
Real Estate Continues To Free Fall
Salaries & Wages Are Not Increasing
Struggling states & municipalities raise taxes
Crushing new mortgage rules repels first-time buyers

What Saturn’s coming transit in Scorpio shows is that interest rates are going to rise – and will have powerful implications for the world economy, including that of the United States and western nations.

It is my assessment we have only been in the first two (2) phases of the severe economic crash - with the next two phases occurring in 2012-2014 – which raises the stakes because of the inability, neglect and outright stupidity of a generational establishment that ruined what took many decades to build.

Saturn's long transit in tropical Scorpio reflects a time of 'austerity' for nations, this much we now know.

The position of Saturn relative to its waning transit to Pluto over the next nine (9) years is a time of transitioning for the economies of nations; therefore the geopolitical shifts taking place in the early Twenty-Tens will be challenging to say the least.

Saturn's transit in Scorpio, or the mundane Eighth House, brings the boomer establishment to the end of its time as establishment.

For years, I have been warning baby boomers who would listen to not ignore the passage of time, nor believe in the illusions of 'forever youth' which has stagnated this generation wholly into self-indulgence and hegemony at the expense of the future.

Economically, austerity measures forced on nations by debtors involved in the economic crash also highlights the inclinations of the Uranus/Pluto squares between 2012-15.

This period of time include powerful cardinal transits involving Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto.

Saturn's curious transit in Scorpio, a 'fixed' water sign will be reminiscent for some who remember the years 1983, 1984 and 1985. Economically, those years were also recession years mired in austerity with wide disparities of wealth.

Saturn enters Scorpio in early October 2012; this signifies a strong economic year with Jupiter in Gemini - reflecting wider effects on populations from the severe economic decline that began with the banking crisis of 2007.

The atmosphere of the world with Saturn in Scorpio from October 2012 to September 2015 shows a nebulous era of fixed economic circumstances for some; while others want to protect that which they already have.

A strong deflationary period, from the lingering effects of the previous economic crash, continues in society with dire consequences than during Saturn's transit in tropical Libra from 2010-2012.

The mundane co-rulers of Scorpio are Mars and Pluto, with the public mortality, suicides, or death rates highlighted as are national economic matters and financial relations with other nations.

The decades of the 1990s and 2000s will also be put under the microscope by privy councils who will attempt to determine what to do with the corrupted officials and players who caused the economic decline.

Saturn's position in the mundane Eighth House of Scorpio is believed to be a malefic position with high mortality rates among the elderly; especially those of the oligarchy who formerly held high positions.

The seasonal nights will tend to be long, wet and warm under Saturn's influences in Scorpio with cold wet blasts during the winter seasons.

The social atmosphere and weather broods dark as populations struggle with the effects of the past economic crash and continuing recession. Coming interest rate hikes further adds to pricing fears which forces consumer demand to stagnate even further in a deflationary decade.

Those of Generation Y who will experience their fist Saturn Return between 2012 to 2015 will be close to their 30th birthdays.

This era of Saturn in Scorpio for the world is also for them a kind of personal awakening that will not become fully apparent until Saturn has left Scorpio and entered Sagittarius in 2015.

Saturn in Scorpio will call into question who can be trusted and who cannot as betrayal is a feature of Saturn's transit in this tropical sign.

Both personal and professional relationships are highlighted amid the dark brooding, emotional and mysterious circumstances of Scorpio.

The social and geopolitical impact of the economic crisis that began in the decade of the 2000s will clearly be negative in these years from the early to mid-Twenty Tens.

There is a need to associate with people one already knows, as the emotional nature of Scorpio is refined by Saturn's detachment - but with a sharp emotional and penetrating edge.

The placement of Saturn in Scorpio shows that the nights are strongly highlighted as Mars co-rules Scorpio. Saturn's nature prefers the cold, so nights are powerfully stressed.

My past observations of Saturn in this sign proves that this is true as the years of Saturn's prior transit in Scorpio during the mid-1980s were indeed a brooding, mysterious nocturnal era of sorts.

Psychologically, expect the social atmosphere to be one of a cold, detached but emotional era where groups will tend to stay amongst themselves rather than to freely congregate with others they do not know.

There can spread of sexual diseases crystallized by Saturn, so it is important to use protection when having sexual contact. The decline in the lifestyles of people as a result of the prior economic recession can lead to breakdowns of law-and-order in neighborhoods, so it is wise to be careful where you live and through what neighborhoods you travel as Saturn's transit of Scorpio can lead to increases in criminal activity.

The lawlessness inclined by Saturn in Scorpio is reflective of the breakdown of the baby boomer generation's hold on the establishment and their horrid neglect of managing society during their time as establishment in the 1990s and 2000s.

One of the keys to surviving the time of Saturn’s transit in Scorpio is to remember that what once worked for the Baby Boomer generation will not work for you – so avoid the trap.

The Baby Boomers played a critical role as establishment which has led to the austerity years of Twenty-Tens. Boomers consumed much more than they ever produced. They borrowed more than they could repay.

Their expectations helps to bring first deflation, then inflation into the mix.

They created negative equity that infected tens of millions of Americans (and many more worldwide) with rampant personal debt while causing government deficits to balloon outright – causing outright sovereign debt.

The boomer generation forecasted bubble-growth forever along with dreams of every-rising riches for themselves but they forgot that they gave up independence for more wealth and toys.

They turned their homes into ATM machines – assets that are now liabilities with no shrinking equity – drowning in three years of missed mortgage payments and declining property values.

The arrogance of self-worth and self-indulgence and that of their toys made them believe their own fantasies – at the expense of everyone else.

Whole communities worldwide sit empty, while construction projects were abandoned in the wake of the Panic of 2007-08. Meanwhile, boomers who are desperate to sell their properties cannot find buyers and are now on fumes by 2012.

Many baby boomers are discovering that without buyers and shrinking equity in their houses that they have no wealth and continue to sink deeper into debt as the values of McMansions fall like a rock.

Since the start of 2005 and by the end of the year 2010, three million seven-hundred thousand American families have been kicked out onto the street.

At an average of 2.3 people per household this is 8.5 million Americans who have been directly, physically, affected by the bursting of the U.S. Housing Bubble to date.

Estimate are that by the time the dust from the mess settles the wide spectrum of personal tragedies which resulted from corrupt policies of the baby boomer presidents Clinton and G.W. Bush and their 16-year era, i.e., to promote (i.e. subsidize) home ownership - at least six million more American families will have had their lives altered. That number rises to 14+ million personal tragedies.

This is what a generation brought on themselves and everyone else with greed, selfishness and ignorance. U.S. housing prices fell another 3% in February 2011.

That was then the seventh straight month of decline – effectively a 'double dip.' The first significant dip was in late 2008, but because of the government stimulus – the decline was temporarily slowed.

By 2011, U.S. housing prices were back on the free fall with prices down nationwide about 32% - this, from the peak of the real estate market in May of 2006.

Some cities, like Miami are down 42 percent and the city of Phoenix, Arizona is down a remarkable 56%.

Almost half the houses for sale are distressed. In the U.S., it is estimated that nearly 12 million homes are worth less than their mortgages with another 2.6 million families who report having less than 5% equity. Real estate is now a horrible place to put money and buyers know it.

This is obviously a chronic decline of the real estate market – effectively a generational grand decline. We have a constant stream of deterioration that cannot be allowed to last.

There are an estimated one million+ bank owned homes in the inventory - a huge unsold overhang of shadow supply prevents any recovery of housing prices.

Home equity is draining and the balance sheets of banks will continue to erode. There are over 11-12 million American homes that are in negative equity – this represents about 23.1% of all households.

Moreover, in a climate where the average baby boomer worker is pushing 66+ years old, the U.S. Economy cannot and will not benefit from export surge.

This is because the dying oligarchy and their boomer spawn sold the US industrial/manufacturing base to the Pacific Rim & China.

What happened is that two kinds of people were ruined by the housing bubble created by Wall Street bankers and hedge fund moguls: people who bought properties at any point in the last two years of the bubble and second, the people who believed real estate hit bottom in 2007-09. There are millions of sellers – but few buyers.

The longer the boomer generation lie to themselves that their real estate ponzi schemes can go on; as long as they think interest rates will never rise; that their incomes will continue to expand beyond all sense; that their right to overpriced houses is an entitlement – the worse things will get.

The Boomer generation lives in a dream world where they get to eat their cake and have it too and where there are no consequences in the near future.

That future, transits show, is nearly here.

Baby Boomers borrowed tons of money, repeatedly, against their homes to then invest in more properties overpriced from the start. Now that the party is over – they do not know how to ready themselves for a retirement that has already begun.

One-third of all Baby Boomers cannot pay their mortgages and monthly bills. Nearly 42% have zero savings – yet the great majority of baby boomers own properties.

This means that their one hope for financial freedom in retirement is their houses – and constitutes their only financial strategy. That is why their houses remain overpriced.

Some boomers continue to be certain that what they had in the 2000s – cheap mortgages, flipping houses with ever rising boomer-bubble prices – will last eternally.

The bank-real estate crisis experience of 2006-2011 with the transits to come this decade means at least 7.5 years of deep losses – all because the boomer generation got a ponzi-scheme hard on for housing to the point of the ridiculous.

At this rate, by the time we see a rise in properties from the 2004 period it will be the year 2021. The fact is that the Boomer generation cannot continue to believe that their fantasies did not screw it all up.

They killed jobs, left the economy in shambles with tens of millions of people in debt while ruining whole communities, cities, counties and states by means of corrupt and greedy real estate practices.

It is long past the time to move on.

By the time Saturn enters Scorpio a month from the 2012 General Election, it will become clearer to most people that interest rates are about to go up. By 2013, rates will have already begun to rise.

This will be the crushing blow to the real estate market which should have happened several years before until the government stepped in to halt the slide in 2009.

That slide was slowed, but not halted, so that the years 2010 and 2011 were only a respite from what is sure to come – another housing crash and the end of the Baby Boomer establishment.

All of this could have never happened if not for the immensely selfishness of a generation that believe it could do no wrong and would live forever.

The fleecing of resources both public and private along with the destruction of institutions by a mix of theft, rape and neglect – as effectively ended the party for boomers and the late 20th century economy.

How to Prepare For Saturn in Scorpio

Saturn will enter tropical Scorpio on October 5, 2012 just as transiting Mars will be leaving Scorpio, so expect this ingress of Saturn to be strong, in the nature of the octave of Mars.

The transit of Saturn in tropical Scorpio will last for nearly three years from October 2012 to September 2015. The economic and financial stresses in the wake of the years 2007-2012 will have spread worldwide and affected many lives, careers and communities.

Because Saturn is in a waning transit to Pluto, the economic realities of the era 2012-2015 will be one of strong financial concerns in light of the widespread corruption of the baby boomer establishment over the previous 20 years.

However, by October 2012, what will be most evident will be the anger of populations - especially the middle class - over the losses of jobs, opportunities and resources - that will be unleashed during the Uranus-Pluto square years of 2012-15.

Psychologically, as Saturn prepares to leave tropical Libra and enter Scorpio by October 2012, expect the social atmosphere and mood to become even more distant and objective.

This is the result of tens of millions of people forced into the position of having to make up for lost time and opportunities because of the baby boomer hegemony.

Saturn's transit in Scorpio will meet in water trine to transiting Neptune in Pisces in 2013, which helps those with astrological placements that are favorable:

Those with these favorable placements may be able to discover practical uses for their creative projects with the ability to focus and concentrate that the Saturn-Neptune trine offers.

The water trine is especially favorable for discipline to attain spiritual advancement along with the ability to gain ever deeper insights into the cultural, economic and geopolitical in operation, both of the past and present time.

Preparing for Saturn's transit in Scorpio before October 2012 involves understanding that the early to middle years of the Twenty-Tens are to be used to discipline oneself in these areas:

Economics and finances
Personal and professional relationships
Generational transition and change
Social gatherings
Spiritual growth

The transit of Saturn into Scorpio can sometimes lead to the breakdown of parts of society due to the previous corruption, ideology and lack of common sense practiced by the former baby boomer establishment.

Be wise about whom you associate with and watch those who do not mind their manners. Do not be afraid, remember, love is strong and can certainly place a bruise on the asses of those who get out of hand.

There is simply too much at stake to allow our children to continue to suffer under the current economic climate, nor to allow those to use that depressed climate in order to exploit, hurt and oppress others.

Prior to Saturn's ingress in Scorpio, the transiting Lunar Nodes will shift from mutable to fixed on August 30, 2012 and then enter the Scorpio-Taurus axis, where the Moon's nodes will remain until mid-February 2014.

That means the era from August 2012 to February 2014 will also reinforce Saturn's role in Scorpio. This "fixed" era is one of serious financial concerns and has ramifications for those who participated in the fleecing of companies and nations via the stock markets and banks.

Monies between partners and spouses are highlighted, as are general financial obligations which include all economic affairs of debts, loans, losses.

Saturn's transit in the mundane Eighth House will see lenders attempt to co-opt the borrower, so it is important not to accept loans which lead to even more debt.

One can expect serious investigations to ensue around the true causes of the world economic depression connected to the generational fleecing of society by the baby boomer generation.

Now, there is no getting around this as Saturn's transit, along with that of the North Lunar Node in Scorpio, calls for in-depth examination of the forces that caused the economic contraction.

Corporate secrecy and attempts to obfuscate and hide past and present illegal activities will backfire according to Saturn's crystallization of Scorpio.

The economic crisis will have also led to the deterioration of communities in previous years, so be careful what neighborhoods you travel - especially at night.

Saturn will rule over the nights as it transits Scorpio, so it is necessary to use caution during 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

The breakdowns in law and order in various regions of the world, as well as communities and neighborhoods comes as a direct result of the failure of the boomer establishment to manage the economy.

So cutbacks in law enforcement results, leading to societal fractures that will require renewal by Generation X, the new incoming establishment.

However, during Saturn's transit in Scorpio, this will take time to bring about due to the prior neglect. Remember the one thing all criminals respect is strength - so when confronted by those who break the law - fight back - think 'Batman' in this respect and you will not have any problem.

Saturn in Scorpio will shed light on all matters associated with anxieties, fears, losses, decay and the nature and fear of death.

Understand that Saturn in Scorpio is a powerful transit through the mundane Eighth House and reinforces the need to accept aging in life and to leave behind matters that are no longer valid or useful.

Saturn's inclination encourages 'want' and 'loss' and that of 'economy' and in Scorpio strongly influences the elderly.

The years of late 2012, into 2013, 2014 and 2015 of Saturn's transit in Scorpio along with the cardinal crisis transits show a need to adjust and envision a better world without the weight and outworn methods of the past.

The former establishment of the baby boomers will have led to the neglect and fleecing of society to the point of outright rebellion and potential revolution.

However, what is most likely to occur is that the elderly, that is, those of the baby boomer generation who are at fault for the serious problems facing these times, will not get off Scott-free and will be forced to clean up the mess they made - and for free.

There will be no payment for theft and creating massive damage to society and its institutions. Moreover, those who claim that they played no part in the corruption and fleecing had better be able to prove it under the world transits to come - especially those of Uranus and Pluto.

Saturn's transit in Scorpio shows that be facing one's fears and taking responsibility for one's errors and faults then one may be able to come to terms with the transits of the near future.

The Eighth Mundane house with Saturn in play does not lead immediately to growth since the worries are the barriers which stand in the way.

The cardinal crisis transits are those that will force the matter, so to speak for baby boomers who refuse to accept the truth of the times. Those of that generation who fail to 'get it' will not be happy with what Saturn is about to bring.

Those who do get it will be better off as wisdom visits with them and stays awhile, rather than eluding those who choose to live in ignorance and generational self-indulgence.

Saturn's transit in Scorpio can also encourage false fears. This will emanate from an aged boomer establishment in angst over getting older. It is important not to fall into that trap of thinking because it leads to even more failure against progress into the future.

Those who desire to focus on positive matters that help others will find Saturn's transit in Scorpio useful to overcome barriers that formerly were put in place by a generational establishment wholly self-indulgent and neglectful of their responsibilities to society.

Though the general atmosphere and mood of Saturn's transit in Scorpio between October 2012 to September 2015 can be dark and brooding, the inclinations of Scorpio also provide spiritual benefit for those who seek to make progress by helping others as they help themselves.

Time does not stop for anyone - including the baby boomer generation - so it is essential not to fall into the bad habit of allowing the 'status quo,' amid rampant corruption and neglect, to go unchallenged and unchanged - especially in light of the Uranus-Pluto squares and Saturn's coming sojourn in Scorpio.

It is important not to waste time. Saturn's transit in Libra in 2011 and most of 2012 until its entry into tropical Scorpio by October 2012 shows a need to get down to brass tacks and get to work.

Yet, the frustrations over the delayed progress of society by the boomer generation's hegemony remains.

The way to navigate successfully is to get on with planning for the decade of the Twenty-Tens as a whole.
