Cardinal Crisis in Schools - Angry Students Versus Baby Boomers

In Mundane Astrology, there is a saying - "what goes around, comes around."

This saying fits astrology like no other simply because it is true when it comes to the revolutions of planetary bodies and the events that correlate on Earth.

In the late 1960s, a generation of Baby Boomers fed up with war, corrupt politics, and the Establishment joined the civil rights movement and started what they called a counter-culture revolution.

Now, those very same Baby Boomers who once fought as activists against the establishment of the 1960s & 1970s face the wrath they themselves once wrought nearly 42 years ago.

I have been writing on this subject for several years. I have been warning Baby Boomers to prepare for their retirements. To ease out of long-held public and private positions and not to take resources that did not belong to them.

To fully acknowledge and respect the passage of time by not treating aging as a terrible fate, but to embrace it, and to be positive.

A generation cannot go into the future with one's back turned against it.

To give way to the next generation and respect them because the change was coming.

For all this, and for being critical of the Baby Boomer generation for not doing these things, and more, while allowing the world to fall apart under their establishment, I've taken heat from those who fail to see when a mundane astrologer highlights any issue - it is always for a very good reason.

I saw it coming from afar.

We can see things coming further down the road than most people. Years and sometimes decades in advance. Some people, including astrologers, seem to be under the illusion that mundane forecasts are personal opinions.

They are not.

I've seen many things I wish I did not see, nor would wish on anyone. Astrology is predictive by nature, and deals with the real world.

Not an imagined world of niceties, for finding a date, nor of mere individualized psychological profiles or for pop-culture ramblings.

Astrology is not a game. It is a forecasting celestial science that faces the serious truths of the world as shown by the future movements and revolutions of the stars and planets relative to the Earth.

The Cardinal Crisis transits is about to explode onto the global scene in a wide variety of ways, through a multiplicity and spectrum of issues that have been wholly ignored for nearly two decades by a generation that has been the establishment since 1993.

No longer.

What I saw coming years ago has not been prepared for in the least. Rather, it has been ignored, beat back, shouted down, and attacked as "irresponsible" by some astrologers, and an entire generation of Baby Boomers whom should have known better.

That's what seers do. Mundane astrologers forecast what we know is coming. It is not our opinion. It is our expertise. That's what we astrologers are supposed to do.

What is irresponsible is to forsake astrological knowledge for opinion and personal sensibilities. That helps no one. It leads to a road that goes nowhere.

Now, it appears, my forecast is this area of generational transition, and warfare is coming true as forecasted, according to global transits, which never lie.

The "me generation,' have been the establishment for nearly 18 years, and have been accused of everything from total self-indulgence, to outright waste, corruption and theft of trillions in resources.

For instance, take a peek at what is going to happen today in the United States. The subject is schools and universities. And millions of people are very pissed off.

"There needs to be some honest conversations about what's happening [in our schools]," says CNN Education Contributor Steven Perry, the founder of Capital Preparatory Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut.

"The system is being fleeced by the people within."

Those people are the Baby Boomer generation.

This has been building for some time, see November 2009 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPW0214z2Vk&feature=related

Now, four months later, today, on March 4, 2010, the Boomer regents, administration and civil staffs are about to face the wrath of entire student populations in more than 30 American states.

Students and workers in California's state universities, including elementary and high schools, will join to protest the deepest cuts in their states history.

"We have never before witnessed this much participation and outrage about the dismal state of education on our state campuses and in our public schools," said Lillian Taiz, president of California's Faculty Association.

Her labor union represents 23,000 instructional faculty, lecturers, librarians, coaches and counselors throughout 23 campuses of California State University.

"The call for March 4th protests has hit a nerve. It's an history moment."

See interactive national map - http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/interactive/2010/03/us/map.student.activism/us.data.map.swf

College students and parents across the United States have said they are fed up with how things have been run from elementary schools, to high schools, community colleges and universities.

Facing tuition and fee hikes while suffering school closures, program cuts, and large classes, students in states like California say they often have to choose between food and books.

The past year brought double-digit fee increases for California State University and University of California students. Many post-secondary students are face fewer but more crowded course sections.

Things have gotten so bad, that university students in the state of Georgia plan on wearing black armbands Thursday to symbolize what they call the "death of our education."

And it appears that death it may be because in Georgia a legislative committee proposed $300 million in cuts to the state's college system. This is on top of $100 million cut over the last two years.

That's $400 million in total cuts to date.

The problems highlighted by parents, schools and younger teachers is this: they say that senior administrators and teachers' salaries make up as much as 80 percent of a school's budget.

There are those who say that for all school programs to survive that all those high wages being paid to Baby Boomers must be based on performance and revenue instead of seniority mandates.

In Kansas City, nearly half of the schools are being closed down, see - http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_closing_schools#mwpphu-container

Meanwhile, it is reported that ever increasing amounts of young people are having to wait out the recession and their own youth, see - http://inthesetimes.com/working/entry/5642/young_people_wait_out_the_recessionand_their_youth/

One man witnessing the protests in California said, "Hey CSUS students! Blame the faculty and administration's bloated salaries, tenure system and retirement packages.

To the CSUS faculty and all the other state leaches: you just don't effing get it do you? THE STATE IS BROKE! And your compensation packages are a big reason we are in this mess."

"I just got laid off last week because my company was going under. You should have to suffer the same consequences because your company is already under.

"To the people in California who have to work for an income that relies on the profitability of their company... we need to take action NOW."

The Cardinal Crisis & Baby Boomer Generation

There are two Saturn/Uranus oppositions left to go. The fourth exact opposition on the Virgo/Pisces axis takes place April 26, and will continue to feature the old against the new.

The fifth, and last opposition takes place on the Aries/Libra axis July 26 and is part of the Cardinal Crisis transits of July and August.

The mess in California boggles the mind.

But it is also a national crisis in generational values, education, management, quality, and leadership. This is signified by the global transits.

What has failed to be done in the past has now been exposed openly for all to see.

As the salaries, wages and pensions of senior Baby Boomers have skyrocketed over the years, younger staff supporting families and under 48 years of age have been laid off while suffering years of never achieving seniority status because of being shifted around the system by more senior administrators who continue to consume more of the resources.

Across the U.S., and in California, revenues have nearly collapsed in the wake of the Banking Crisis and real estate crash. Cuts in K-12 have amounted to an astronomical $18 billion in just two years - closing reams of schools with thousands of employees fired with no where to go.

For California's state universities, funds since 2008 were to the tune of nearly $1 billion. Regents and administrators responded by increasing all student fees, canceling classes, cutting student support programs and furloughing younger professors while administrators and those holding senior tenured positions received wage increases keeping positions held for nearly 30 years.

Many say they are amazed at the sheer arrogance of a generation that proclaimed that its own fight against the establishment of their time was righteous, but who want to deny younger generations they right to do the same.

"It's hypocritical," said a laid-off California teacher in her mid-40s. "Boomers just stare at you like you're from Mars or something, like they don't get it, but they get it alright, they are just too damned fat and comfortable taking what doesn't belong to them - our money and our schools. I can't afford to eat and raise my own son. I have had enough!

I continue to state that unless there is a swift turn-around created by the generational establishment that the global transits will combine to bring about a total rebellion against those Baby Boomers who are now seniors and leaving the establishment this year.

My forecasts on global transits have not changed. We are seeing just the start of what will turn out to be at least 5-7 years of crisis and challenges brought on by the lack of vision, the corruption, greed, and denial of an entire generation that will depend on the very people who they have taken from.

It's mad. If you are going to tick off any generation, then make sure it is not the generations behind you.

For these are going to be the very people who will keep the lights on, your houses warm, and make sure you are comfortable, are able to eat, who will help to heal you, and help you to survive as an elderly person.

It's common sense, right?

Well, not for a generation that believed that they would never age and remain, to this day, in denial about aging.

An entire generation that bought hook, line and sinker into the Peter Pan myth of never growing older is now about to face the hard truths of the natural world.

We all grow older. And you know what? It's okay.

I continue to stress the need for those who have been in power as the establishment to either come to terms with reality and let go so as to allow new, fresh bodies to take their places - or, those who have overstayed their welcome will be removed by the forces of global transits and the inclinations that influence people are who already very upset about the state of their lives now.

After all is said and done, the generation that has forgotten its own past, and its promises, has now doomed itself to repeat the same mistakes made by the establishment 42 years ago - which is half the cycle of the orbit of Uranus around the Sun.

Uranus is a timer used by mundane astrologers along with the other outer planets. The orbit of the planet is closest to the plane of orbit of the Earth, so this gives Uranus a unique influence on correlation events that combine with its own revolution around the Sun and through the Zodiac.

Uranus transits tropical Pisces since 2003, ending a global cycle it started in 1927-28. When Uranus enters Aries fully by March 2011 - we will see a new era open for the world.

The immediate aspects Uranus makes to other celestial bodies indicates to me as a forecaster that it is going to be shake & bake time through to the middle years of this new decade.

These are serious global transits, and demands mature adults who know how to handle stress and who have their eyes and ears open while being creative, proactive, and positive.

Adults who are not afraid of growing older, because they already had a childhood, and have moved on. That's what growing up is all about.

But I haven't been seeing that with the establishment of the Baby Boomer generation.

That's what has been worrying me for years.

Entrepreneur expert Jim Beach says, "We had the Great Generation, the Americans that grew up during the Depression and then fought and won World War 2. Their children, the Baby Boomers, have ruined America and have left a debt that may never be repaid."

"The Baby Boomers rejected and redefined traditional values," Beach said. "As Wikipedia writes, 'boomers are widely associated with privilege, as many grew up in a time of affluence. As a group, they were the healthiest, and wealthiest generation to that time, and amongst the first to grow up genuinely expecting the world to improve with time.'

"But, they will be the first generation in American history to leave their children insurmountable debt," Beach points out. "Our annual national debt is approaching 20% of annual GDP. The Baby Boomers are the ones that voted for this craziness and the ones that have changed society to allow for this craziness! $14 trillion in debt, thanks a lot!"

What I've been warning Baby Boomers about for some time now are the consequences of becoming the most hated generation in history. This is a very real possibility because of the obvious collapse of public and private institutions, states, the crumbling national infrastructure, and the failing school system.

Boomers who are entering their senior years at faster rates will depend on younger workers to maintain the very system that Baby Boomers will depend on to survive.

How will they do so with younger workers more concerned with their own welfare while resentful of a generation whom they blame for causing the crisis in the first place?

In other regions of the world, the same generational transition and outlooks are taking place as well. The Baby Boomer Francis Beckett, co-author of Marching to the Fault Line: the 1984 Miners' Strike and the Death of Industrial Britain, says about his generation -

"That the baby boomers are now all too old ever again to be trusted with the nation’s affairs is entirely our fault," Beckett says.

"It was we who created the cult of youth. In the Sixties, we thought that under our tutelage the world was going to get better. But we created a far worse world, a harsher world where our children have to be coldly, miserably realistic in a way that we did not, a world in which the self-indulgences that we took as of right are unavailable to them.

"We, the Baby boomers, used up the economic good times, when there was work for everyone. We used up the educational good times, when free education extended to universities and we, unlike our children, did not have to amass a mountain of debt in order to go to university.

"We used up the time when education was seen as a good in itself, rather than the acquisition of skills required to swell someone else’s profits.

"In June 2009, the government’s department for higher education was abolished, and its responsibilities placed under the department dealing with business and industry, a pretty good indication of what ministers now think education is for.

"We used up the time when progressive educationalists were starting to question the idea of school as a machine for cramming facts into young minds. New Labour – the government of the baby boomers – has built a new straitjacket for our childrens' schools."

He explains further: "We used up the time when the Second World War was fresh enough in the memory for war to be seen as an evil, never to be entered into lightly. That is why Prime Minister Harold Wilson saved the Baby boomers from having to fight beside young Americans in Vietnam, though they gave him little thanks for it.

"When the Baby boomer generation formed a government, its first prime minister, Tony Blair, told lies to the young so that he could send them to die alongside the Americans in Iraq.

"Religion, royalty, government: nothing was sacrosanct in the Sixties, and everything could be questioned. But we used up the time when nothing was sacred.

"The age of deference seemed to be over, yet the Baby boomers, who now run things, have seen how useful deference is for the governing class and are bringing it back as fast as they can.

The freedoms we fought for, we have rushed to deny to our children. We once thought our children would grow up into a far better world than the one in which we reached adulthood. They didn’t."

Tom Brokaw, the former NBC news anchor has produced a special called 'Boomer$!' - a two-hour documentary that will air tonight at 9 p.m. eastern time on CNBC.

It highlights Baby Boomers who have entered their senior citizen years and not facing up to the realities of aging. In one published interview with a female Boomer from Michigan who worked 36 years at the Ford Motor company but was laid off, the woman expressed shock to Brokaw because she thought she would always work there.

Another woman responded to her complaints: "Instead of talking about the Baby boomers who ruined the country, let's talk about the who effect out there," says a 40ish woman named Jane.

"I graduated 4 years ago and still can't find a job, I will also be dealing with the care of my elderly parents and the care of my children. How am I supposed to do that?

"I have no pension yet, no health benefits, my house was taken away, had to work in other states to survive for what? So that some Baby Boomer who probably made $60-80k before her layoff can whine about how in 36 years she made no money?

"Please. You are responsible for this, because the Baby boomers believed that money grew on trees. I don't feel sorry for anyone who worked for more than 25 years and didn't save a dime.

"Over-educated selfish people. Didn't you learn anything from your parents tales of the great depression? I remember my grandmother telling me about it and in today's society I'm still surviving."

"Thus might the next Fourth Turning end in apocalypse – or glory," writes generational authors Strauss Howe, in their book The Fourth Turning. "The nation could be ruined, its democracy destroyed, and millions of people scattered or killed.

"Or America could enter a new golden age, triumphantly applying shared values to improve the human condition. The rhythms of history do not reveal the outcome of the coming Crisis; all they suggest is the timing and dimension."

As a mundane astrologer, I know for certain the timing is tight, tense, and close by - coming in a few months and already on the horizon while the dimension is quite deep.

This time, however, the world transits are much stronger, and the cardinal inclinations will last for several years into the next decade.

There is no playing around with the transits of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto in their malefic configurations. These are world-class game changers - on an historic scale.

What could come in the years ahead is something I would not prefer to see, but which may be necessary to correct much of the corruption, incompetence, rampant greed, arrogance, complacency, and injustice of the last 18 years.

Each delay, each barrier, while ignoring the constant calls for positive change brings the Cardinal Crisis that much closer, and it is nearly here.

As mundane astrologers say, "What goes around, comes around."

Prelude To Cardinal Climax - Mass Crisis In Greece

Mundane Astrology strives to be of good use to the world by forecasting trends and potential events ahead of global transits.

Yet, more often than not, those policymakers, and leaders who ignore astrological forecasts only do so to their peril, and to the peril of their countrymen and women.

Such will be again be the case in 2010.

The coming Cardinal Crisis the world will face by July & August 2010 is being previewed now in the nation of Greece, a European nation bordering not only on bankruptcy - but also on rebellion, revolt and possibly, revolution.

After the financial manipulation of international banks like Goldman Sachs on the Greek economy, the country faces unprecedented austerity measures in this European Union nation., Greece is among several EU countries that include Portugal, Ireland, and Spain - nations also on the brink of economic collapse.

Targeting all civil servants, the wealthy, and the Greek Church in a sweeping 4.8 billion euro ($6.5 billion) austerity program Greece hopes this will help the nation to stave off its crippling national debt.

Meanwhile, shocking news has emerged that implicates Goldman Sach and other banks that investigators say played a major role to hide Greece's economic data several years ago.

According to the Feb. 25, 2010 New York Times -

"Greece's problems deepened on both sides of the Atlantic as the Federal Reserve disclosed it was investigating Goldman Sachs and other banks that helped the country mask its debts, and investors grew increasingly leery of lending any more money to a nation flirting with default.

Wall Street’s role in the run-up to the debt crisis has generated criticism and calls for an inquiry from European leaders.

The Fed examination is the first time American regulators will examine the highly profitable if little-known business of supplying custom-made financial instruments to strapped countries on the Continent.

While Greece’s economic troubles have transfixed world markets for weeks, its problems have snowballed in recent days as workers went to the picket lines to protest budget cuts and the government struggled to raise cash to cover what is Europe’s largest budget deficit. Last year, Greece’s deficit equaled 12.7 percent of gross domestic product

Moody's ratings agency joined Standard & Poor's in warning that it might downgrade Greek government bonds, a move that would increase the premium Athens must pay to borrow.

The move comes at a precarious time for Greece, which must raise 25 billion euros ($34 billion) over the next few months to avoid a sovereign default that officials fear could cause the finances of other weak European economies to collapse.

In a sign of the challenges their nation faces, Greek officials also called off a planned trip to the United States and Asia aimed at interesting new investors in its bonds because of a lack of demand, according to an investment banker who was briefed on the government’s fund-raising strategy.

The European Union has said it would come to Greece’s aid only if it develops a plan to reduce its deficit by March 16, further ratcheting up the pressure.

“Even if they bring the deficit to zero, with interest rates at 6.5 percent and a growth rate of zero at best, Greece’s debt ratio remains on an explosive path,” said Miranda Xafa, a former executive board member at the International Monetary Fund. “I just don’t think they can raise funds from the market now.”

See - http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/26/business/global/26greece.html

Business Week reports that -

"Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke said the U.S. central bank is reviewing derivatives contracts arranged between Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and investment banks with Greece.

“We are looking into a number of questions related to Goldman Sachs and other companies and their derivatives arrangements with Greece,” Bernanke said in testimony before the Senate Banking Committee in Washington.

Bernanke was responding to a question from Senator Christopher Dodd, a Connecticut Democrat, who asked if there should be limits on the use of credit default swaps to prevent “runs against governments.” Greek bonds slid amid concern the country’s credit ratings may be cut."

This is not the first time Goldman Sachs has been implicated manipulating financial data. See the Rolling Stone expose' - http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/32255149/wall_streets_bailout_hustle/1

The precarious problems in the Euro zone has stressed out populations to the point of seething public anger. In Greece, tensions between government, international bankers, police, and civil servants is reaching a boil.

For instance, on February 16, 2010, a shoot-out between police and apparent bank robbers in the neighborhood of Vironas, Athens killed an innocent person the population said was "assassinated" by police.

It appears the innocent bystander, a 25-year-old migrant worker named Nikollas Todi, was shot multiple times - nine bullets in the back, a bullet through his head and another bullet through his heart. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The chief of Athens police, Leuteris Oikonomou, said “nothing went wrong in the operation – that the 25-year old simply found himself amidst crossfire."

Later, in an attempt to disassociate himself from the police chief's statement, the Greek Minister of Citizen Protection, Michalis Chrisochoidis said “a crucial battle was won, even if the cost was dear." He then announced that Athens will see “unprecedented” policing operations after Easter.

If this is the case, then it is poorly timed, as the fourth Saturn/Uranus opposition takes place after the Easter holidays, and will be exact by April 26. So much for scheduling.

See protests & violence in Athens - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Xm0fTth8Lo&feature=player_embedded

Forecast: The Cardinal Crisis

All the public outrage featuring outworn methods against the new are signatures of configurations like the Saturn/Uranus opposition. The April 26 exact opposition is the fourth and last of those on the Virgo/Pisces axis.

The fifth Saturn/Uranus opposition (July 26) takes place on the Libra/Aries axis as part of the cardinal cross transits of July and August.

Current events in Greece precedes those cardinal transits. We can see this now as transiting Saturn declines off from its square to Pluto, a 'preview' of what is to come by July & August 2010, when Saturn re-enters Libra, and once again squares Pluto in Capricorn, as part of the powerful cardinal crisis transits.

My forecast for many regions around the world is for increased conflicts, mass protests, pitched battles, heightened levels of violence, surprise attacks on battlefronts, and a general atmosphere of clashes, chaos and confusion as a result of economic recession, austerity measures, corruption, greed, resentment, and those seeking justice - all mixed into a time of powerful cardinal inclinations.

Though it is not the time at all to protest, or to gather in crowd, public outrage and anger will ultimately trump concerns for personal safety. People are simply too angry, and the impulsive cardinal inclinations will feed directly into that anger - causing clashes amid large crowds.

Of course, at the root of much of this is the Bank Crisis that began in 2007. The impacts of this severe financial crisis will last into this new decade, with shattering consequences for nations whose populations are quickly blaming their own governments, policy-makers, traders and bankers for starting.

The Cardinal Crisis transits will continue past 2010 and into 2011 through 2015, more or less, featuring increasingly revolutionary sentiments among populaces amid crushing economic austerity measures brought about by corrupt international bankers that led nations into crippling debt.

What to see another interesting read on why people are rioting in Greece?

See - http://www.alternet.org/economy/145884/how_the_monsters_at_goldman_sachs_caused_a_greek_tragedy

What we see happening is Greece is but a preview of what is to come, and sadly, most of the world is not ready.

The Great Recession & Cardinal Crisis Transits

There's a chilling silence in the air as the month of March opens, and, a sense of denial.

As the Obama Administration struggles to keep the American economy afloat, some economists, and writers say that we averted another Depression after the Banking Crisis of 2008.

I say that this is partially true. Yes, the Panic of 2008 was staved off a bit. There could have been 40 million people out of work in the United States rather than the 16 million figure that is touted about now.

"While the economy still faces challenges as it recovers from the worst recession since the Great Depression, significant and sometimes overlooked progress has been made in the past twelve month," says New York Democratic Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney.

"Make no mistake, the U.S. economy isn't yet adding jobs and current unemployment levels are unacceptable," Maloney points out. "But as President Obama has said: to get out of a hole, the first thing you have to do is to stop digging. Our country has stopped digging.

We have come a long way since last January, when the economy lost 779,000 jobs in that month alone and recorded an average monthly job loss of 753,000 in the first three months of 2009. In the most recent three months of the Obama administration, the average monthly job loss was 35,000.

In addition to the moderation in job loss, the housing market has begun to stabilize, credit markets have opened up, and GDP growth has returned. During the final three months of 2009, the economy grew at a healthy rate of 5.7 percent.

The Recovery Act, which Congress passed in February 2009, has saved or created two million jobs and helped return the economy to growth in the second half of 2009. That legislation also softened the blow of the recession for millions of Americans through extension of unemployment insurance and support for health insurance premiums for laid-off workers."

Still, I continue to worry. Mundane astrologers do that from time to time because they have a clear view of transits just ahead and tend not to believe the pundits. And, so, I am concerned about the longer-term impacts.

Before I continue along these lines of concern, I would like to get to some proactive ways that anyone reading this can make things happen for themselves, their families, employees, associates and friends in the years ahead.

Pre-act Rather Than React

During this year's Cardinal Crisis transits of July & August, I strongly advise anyone to take the summer to get down to homework rather than to follow the crowd.

It will be a contentious time from July to about September, more or less, due to the strong transits of the Cardinal Crisis inclinations.

The months of April-June, leading up to the cardinal transits of July-September is also challenging for the tens of millions of people who have suffered because of the Bank Crisis and economic impact in their lives. It was unexpected by most, and many people are just now over the shock.

This year, 2010, is a time to continue to be patient, but to also be foresighted. Understand that what is happening is not your fault, so be tolerant of others who are also struggling, but do not ever forget how it all came about.

Your consciousness is a great asset this year in handling the strong cardinal transits of 2010.

During this time, do these general proactive things -

  • Plan For the New Decade
  • Focus on Job & Career Options
  • Develop Soft Skill Sets
  • Increase Adaptability & Flexibility
  • Be Positive & Selective Of Friends & Networks
  • Be Persistent w/ Goals & Objectives
  • Seek Opportunities That Arise
  • Create Your Own Opportunities
  • Look Out for Opportunities For Others

For years I have maintained there have been great levels of corruption and unbounded greed in global capital markets.

This is mainly a result of the repeals of economic regulatory laws that have been on the books of the United States since the 1930s.

Mundane astrology is wholly concerned with advanced astrology and forecasting global events, trends, and outcomes.

There were few people who saw it coming. For years, I had warned of the great crisis ahead, but few listened as it was during the height of the housing boom, and many people just could not tear themselves away from no-interest loans, flat-screen televisions, Hummers, and expensive vacations.

Back in November 2008, Paul B. Farrell said, "We reported on warnings of another crash coming as early as 2004, wrote a sequel, also titled Next crash? Sorry, you won't see it coming. Yes, we were early, but in good company. We wrote many more warning columns. Few listened.

"Subsequent events, notably former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan's admission of his failures in congressional testimony, prove that if he and other Reaganomic ideologues weren't so myopic and intransigent about proving their free-market deregulation theories, they could have acted earlier and prevented today's colossal mess.

Instead, their ideology kept the bubble blowing, delayed the pop, making matters worse.

So once again, as history proves over and over, ideology trumps common sense, reality and the facts. Greed drives ideologues to blow bubbles. They pop. Crashes happen. The public is collateral damage"

See - http://www.marketwatch.com/story/well-great-depression-2-2011

Those who practice in this complex arena of astrology have known for may years that the new millennium would be a very challenging time due to the movement of celestial bodies.

My own forecasts for the 21st century depict an era of significant change across the spectrum of human history. There are several reasons for this.

One is that we are currently in the Cycle of the Sun (1980-2016) where the Sun has been the "Lord" over world history, according to the Cycle of the Prophets, a judicial astrological term that shows which celestial body has rulership over a 36-year age.

The next era to come will be the Cycle of Saturn (2016-2052) showing that the great malefic planet Saturn will rule as Lord over the coming 36-year period of global history. This is in accordance with the works of the mundane astrologer Michel Nostradamus.

The Cycle of the Moon (1944-1980) featured a recovery period from the disasters of two world wars and a worldwide economic depression. This cycle featured variable changes in humanity's response to the prior cycle with the advent of the Cold War, The Korean War, the end of Colonialism, The Space Era, The Vietnam War, and Cultural Revolution.

The Cycle of Mars (1908-1944) featured the lesser malefic playing a significant role in the First World War, The Russian Revolution, The Great Depression, Climate disasters of record heat and drought, and the advent of the Second World War and the Holocaust.

We are now in the 30th year of the Cycle of The Sun. This signifies a complete turn of Saturn's revolution from the year 1980, when transiting Saturn translated from Virgo to Libra and towards its conjunction with Jupiter at 9-Libra on December 31, 1980.

The Cycle of the Sun (1980-2016) represented a unique era in the history of the world to create a new vision that provided the world an opportunity to potentially liberate itself from the chains of the bloody past of the 20th century, and to form a common good from the lessons learned into a new century.

We are now 30 years into this cycle with six (6) years left to the Cycle of Saturn.

In the year 2010, global transits show that the next T-square configuration of the planets Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto during the months of July and August 2010 reflect a crossroads has been reached.

This is a time of severe financial crisis that reflects the previous last T-square between Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto during the early years (1930-33) of the Great Depression.

The new ingresses of the outer planets reflect that a crossroads has been reached, that opens up a new era within a new century -

  • Pluto in tropical Capricorn
  • Saturn in tropical Libra
  • Jupiter in tropical Aries
  • Uranus in tropical Aries
This formation is the basis of what has been called the Cardinal Climax, or Cardinal Crisis transits, which forms in the summer of 2010 in the northern hemisphere.

When the transpersonal planets reach sensitive seasonal points, this is a sign that great global change is on the horizon and mundane astrologers take note of the positions, and configurations involved.

The position of Saturn's turn towards the western constellation of Libra, with Pluto's turn towards the southern constellation of Capricorn, and Uranus' turn towards the eastern constellation of Aries signals that a global crossroads has been reached.

Events on the earth will correlate to the crossroad, and celestial inclinations affect global consciousness that signals a great change in world history is about to take place.

For more on the Cardinal Climax, see - http://globalastrologyblog .blogspot. com/2010/ 02/cardinal- climax-of- 2010-warnings. html

This change has been, like in the past, sparked by economic manipulation of global markets and banks with the flow of trillions altered, and resources stolen by hidden groups and players. This is signified by the transit of Uranus in Pisces, in the 12th Mundane House of Secret Societies, and Groups.

A similar era took place in the decade of the 1920s, as Uranus transited Pisces, when hidden groups manipulated world capital markets, while in Germany, secret mystical societies planned to retaliate against those they believed lost their nation the First World War.

The demise of the Wiemar Republic in Germany took place behind closed doors, and featured a series of personalities conspiring to take over the country that eventually helped to spark the Second World War.

Uranus' transit into Aries in 1927, signified a new 84-year era that will close in the year 2011, and open another era.

Aries, known as a 'barren' and militaristic sign in mundane astrology, saw the rearming of several nations that joined together to begin a global war that followed the Great Depression into the late 1930s through to the mid-1940s.

What is generally missed by some who fail to use Uranus' transit is the fact that Uranus is the only planet in our solar system that transits on a plane the Earth also transits.

Uranus orbits the Sun, and varies from 2.74 x 109 km (1.70 x 109 mi) to 3.00 x 109 km (1.86 x 109 mi) in its distance so that Uranus traces out a region of space that is very close to Earth's own orbital plane.

For this reason, its inclinations on Earth can be quite stark, as is Uranus' reputation for 'sudden' and 'shocking' influences when crossing angles relative to sensitive positions of Earth's own orbital plane.

When Uranus begins a new orbital period when it reaches, and passes over the 0-Aries point, we can expect a new era to begin on the Earth. It does so twice, in June 2010, and then again, on March 11, 2011, when Uranus re-enters tropical Aries for good. This date in 2011 is the start of a new global era for the world.

The Next Great Depression?

My forecast for another economic depression was based several positions of the transpersonal planets that relate to a celestial crossroads. We have nearly reached that time at this time of writing.

I consider the years 2010 to 2015 a time of economic and social crisis related specifically to the Next Great Depression. See - http://globalastrologyblog .blogspot. com/2010/ 01/cardinal- climax-years- of-crisis- 2010.html

The Bank Crisis of 2008 was a result of a gigantic bubble economy based mainly on the worldwide speculation of debt. stocks, currency, and real estate with insurance provided to cover trillions in a complex web of debt-based derivatives placed as bets by international hedge fund players and financial speculators.

It was a giant ponzi scheme that will have devastating consequences for many nations in the years ahead.

The repeal of financial regulatory laws in the year 1999 by the U.S. Congress, and signed by then-President Bill Clinton, led to immense amounts of money used to fuel debt markets to create unregulated bubbles not seen since the era of the 1920s.

Most of this bubble was created in residential and commercial real estate.

Huge amounts of "free" credit with deceiving "teaser" interest rates were provided and enticed as many people as possible to take part.

Nearly everyone, from single people, to married couples, to small, and medium-sized business owners, to large companies and corporations participated in what amounted to a massive ponzi pyramid based on long-range economic "forecasts" that were based on nothing but wishful thinking and lies.

Under the influence of a Saturn/Neptune opposition, this pyramid quietly began to come apart at the seams in the year 2006-2007. This was then followed by signs of an emerging credit crisis in August/September 2007 as Saturn made ingress into tropical Virgo.

By the summer of 2008, transiting Pluto, in the last degrees of Sagittarius, stationed direct September 9th, a day after Jupiter turned direct in Capricorn while also in trine aspect to Saturn in Virgo. At this time, the shrinking access to capital markets led to the unleashing of the banking crisis.

Hedge funds called in their bets - leading to the demise of investment houses Bear Sterns, Lehman Brothers, and the American insurance giant AIG - and the bubble burst as the U.S. government raced to bail out the giant banks in the midst of a presidential election season.

The resulting collapse of the residential and commercial real estate markets in the U.S., UK, and much of the European Union will also spread to China, a country that experienced great growth after being admitted to the World Trade Organization in September 2001.

This economic collapse is really a Bank Crisis, the same as that of the Great Depression of the 1930s.

The failure of policymakers to regulate banks, investment houses, and giant insurance companies from combining their speculation has resulted in the greatest loss of household wealth - $16 trillion alone in the United States - than has ever been seen in the history of the world.

The consequences have led to tens of millions of people jobless, with unemployment reaching historic levels not seen since the last T-square configuration of Saturn/Uranus/ Pluto in the early 1930s.

This crushing collapse of entire industries that are dying is because of the lack of credit and funding to keep their operations going.

Any economic recovery is lost until the forces that started the economic crisis are removed, and the resources stolen are taken back and fully re-injected into nations, and their communities.

What's Next?

From my long-range mundane perspective, what is next is a series of continued crisis facing nations around the world.

As companies, and banks required 'bailouts,' so now are entire nations and states are going bankrupt, as sovereign debt levels have sky-rocketed because of the corrupting acts and influences of investment houses, their financial agents, lobbyists, and politicians.

The loss of trillions in resources, along with the stagnation of world trade because of frozen credit lines, combined with the losses of tens of millions of jobs, clearly reveals that another Great Depression is on tap for the world in the decade of the 2010s.

Celestial transits confirm this. The resulting rebellions, revolts, and revolutions I forecast to take place in the 2010s is a direct result of the ponzi pyramid that emerged as the Bank Crisis and Panic of 2008.

The resulting austerity measures nations employ to combat huge levels of debt owned to international bankers will fully exacerbate the seething anger of entire populations, which, under a coming Uranus/Pluto squares of the 2010s, will lead to increasingly violent clashes and geopolitical tensions between nations. This happened in the 1930s after the economic excesses of the 1920s.

According to my calculations, the month of August & September 2010 is significant, as well as the months of March and April 2011 for the second, and third rounds of the Next Great Depression.

My astrological estimation sees the year 2010 as a combination of the year 1927/1931 with 2011 as 1928/1932 and 2012 as 1929/1933 due to the synotic cycles of the planets of Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus in their respective positions relative to mundane time and space.

What we have here is a new economic reality mixed with the errors of the past and a failure to prepare for the future.

This is world history. Many have clearly ignored important lessons of the past, and therefore are destined to suffer as a consequence.

This has already occurred, and there is no stopping what has already begun.

However, as a realist with a mystical foundation, I am also an optimist, and there are ways to navigate the next several years successfully.

I will have many more ideas and strategies coming this month...

Cardinal Crisis - What to Do: July & August 2010

The Cardinal Crisis T-square transits of 2010-2015 more or less will force their inclinations of change on the consciousness many millions of people.

This five (5) year period is rife with significant challenges and changes according to global transits. But, they also provide exciting, fresh, and excellent opportunities as well.

The transits of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto are aligned in oppositions and squares during July & August 2010.

There will be action, and much of it will be negative. People will act out, and some people will be nervous, frustrated, and impulsive. Others will be confused, and disoriented. The energies are strong, the atmosphere is charged. The month of August 2010 is particularly intense.

You may be one of those people who can feel it. So, calm down. Think about it: You already knew about this for some time beforehand.

Foreknowledge gives you the advantage, and, because of this you can help yourself, and others at that time with some simple ideas, and plans already laid out that make this coming summer a cinch. It's all good.

Now, this summer in the northern hemisphere is going to be a bit dicey. I've written about this before. People will be hard pressed this summer because of the cardinal inclinations, and, this will continue into the early to middle years of this new decade.

Expect this. You cannot control the feelings, and actions of other people, nor of larger-scale forces to the extent of having things quiet down everywhere.

However, you can control how the cardinal inclinations affect you, and your family. So, start there, exactly where you are and make some preparations.

Not out of fear, nor of dread, but simple, logical and common sense preps for this coming July, August and September.

And, while you are at it, go further and plan out the remainder of 2010, right through to next year. cultivate a spirit of foresight, calm, and maturity.

Do not buy into the rampant impulsive and headstrong energies of this coming summer. Rather, take a load off and chill out.

Expect to hear of lots of action this summer though. The transits of July and August are unfavorable. It is that simple. People will be stressed, tense, pushy, impulsive, and in some cases, violent. Steer clear of all this, and you will do just fine.

So, there's going to be some scary world news from various places, but the world is not coming to an end. People are simply inclined to the powerful cardinal energies and if they are reactionary to begin with then expect reactionary behaviors.

There are things you can do.

With every great series of changes, and problems there is also a series of solutions and opportunities. The cardinal transits of this summer is just the start of what is going to be a very active time in the world over the next 20 years overall, and especially the next five (5) years from 2010.

First, give yourself a pat on the back. You've come this far. It has not been easy, and you may be tired, angry, ticked off at the world, and frustrated at all the barriers, blockages and delays in your life.

Now, this is natural, so give yourself a pat on the back. You're human.

The next thing is this - look around.

What are your options?

What are your problems?

But, rather than just to get stuck here, do this -

Objectify the issues, or the problems you identify and project these a small distance from yourself.

Create a sort of bubble, like the ones you see in those cartoon frames where the character's voices are written, and within this bubble, that is about five, or six-feet from you in the air; insert those problems in that circular bubble which you seek solutions for.

Then wait and observe to see some of the answers flow out. Write down what comes. Don't force anything. Just be at ease, and the answers will come. Those who need detailed dates and times astrologically to gain more from this exercise through their own personal transits can contact me and I will see what I can do for you.

This is a good way to give yourself some space from the problems that hound you, and it offers you the ability to get some objective distance to allow the solutions to flow in naturally.

Try it, and you will find that you are able to make progress while also seeing what really are problems to solve, and what are not.

During the month of March, that is, this month, make some preparations to stick closer to home this summer. Cancel all summer outings that are away from home, and expect this summer to be unusual because of the Cardinal Crisis transits.

Travel is unfavorable, and so are physical activities under the transits of July and August 2010. You already know about this.

Take the time to create an environment at home that is calm, safe, and refrain from being around crowds during the summer. Now, this is going to be hard for many people who had a rough winter.

Naturally, people will want to be out and about, but remember, this is not your usual summer.

So, use the months before July and August to make your own fun at home, and look forward to the summer of 2011, which is calmer than the summer of 2010. That way, you've got something to look forward to since it will be only a year.

Use summer 2010 to do some planning at home. Sleep a lot, rest, recharge your batteries, and envision those things you will want to do in the fall season and coming winter. Next winter will be late in coming (not till February 2011) so it will not be like this most recent winter.

Plan out your year for 2011, and enjoy what it is that you are doing. Meanwhile, keep an eye on the world events of the cardinal crisis transits of July and August and you will see how many people react to the inclinations.

You will be glad that you took the time to plan out things in advance, and stayed home relaxing.

Give yourself another pat on the back.

More on the Cardinal Crisis transits to come...

Last Soul Standing - Marabel Chanin

Today, I am starting a new astrological series called The Cardinal Crisis: Stories From the Hood.

This series will feature the real world and how global transits have, and will, impact society globally.

I would like to be more positive, but the events of the world is not trending that way.

I cannot say that many stories I would like to tell are going to be feel good tales, for some are clearly not.

This is one of those stories.

I do hope that through revelation, that while telling real stories, about real souls and their communities, that I am able to offer some solutions in tandem with explaining the global astrological influences and their implications for the future.

However, I have to say that it does not look good. Unless human beings wake up, the astrological prophecies will come true, and this will alter the destiny of the planet.

Money will not save you. Title will not save you. You class in life will not save you.

What will save you is your heart, your love, your understanding, and your good acts.

In my first story in this astrological series, I would like to tell all of you a very sad tale about an American woman named Marabel Chanin. She once lived on a quaint residential block in the city of Detroit in the United States.

Born the only child of Jewish parents with no close relatives, Marabel resided in Detroit her entire life and said she outlived all the people she once knew.

She did not even know her neighbors because she didn't have any.

In fact, she had no neighbors on her street.

Not a single soul.

That is, except for the single five-foot soul of Marabel Chanin.

In August 2008, Ms. Chanin, an unmarried and childless woman, called a Detroit news channel's "problem solvers" line for help.

Listen - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_ap5GRopHs&feature=related

If you noticed, the television reporter talked about "getting her out" of the neighborhood, but Marabel did not want to go - she wanted something done.

You see, this is a very important point. In Detroit, most of the Caucasians who fled the city after the racial riots of the late 1960s, did just that - they got out.

But, those who stayed saw their communities decline greatly. Marabel's block, her community, is not a single case, but one of many throughout Detroit and the United States, where entire communities, of residential and business districts, are left to rot.

And they continue to rot to this very day.

This is the general theme of a generation that thinks any problem will simply go away if you close your eyes to it and ignore it.

For months, in Marabel's case - like in all the others - nothing happened.

That's what you can expect from a generation that doesn't give a shit.

Then, on the day after Christmas 2008, this occurred - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmOKKXFktB8&NR=1

When Marabel died in her Detroit home at the age of 88 on December 26, 2008, her body laid unclaimed, for five months, in Detroit's Wayne County morgue.

The city had no money to pay for her burial.

Until good people who heard her story stepped forward.

See her tragic funeral on May 21, 2009 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYY9sL1yzYU&feature=related

After Marabel died, vandals destroyed her home and trashed her belongings. This was the last house on the block that contained the living soul of Marabel Chanin.

These are photos that were found on her lawn afterward - http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=pv&GRid=37347985&PIpi=24618703

Is this what has become of America?

Rather than to move, Ms. Chanin wanted something done about her community, her block, which looks as if battles had taken place on it.

Born January 31, 1921, Marabel moved into her house on Robinwood Avenue at the age of 43 in 1964. The neighborhood was a classic beauty of neat trees, gardens, and lined with brick bungalow houses that were built in the 1920s.

Located in northwestern Detroit the neighborhood borders a golf course, a country club and was deemed a safe, quiet and pretty community. Less than 45 years later it looked like parts of Berlin just after the Second World War.

A victim of Saturn's scourge through Virgo, which she was born with in her personal transits, Marabel Chanin also had Jupiter in Virgo, and Uranus in Pisces. When she died, her progressed Mars was conjoined to the fixed star Algol.

Seven years before her death in 2008, she went through a progressed lunar eclipse in Scorpio, which saw the speeding up of the destruction of the community she had lived in for 45 years.

It is almost mind boggling that from 1964 to 2008 that Marabel was the last person left on her block of Robinwood.

Looking like many other neighborhoods in Detroit the corrupted homes literally fell apart with burned-out and hollowed structures giving way to thieves, prostitution, and drugs.

Living in fear, Marabel suffered through countless sleepless nights hearing gunshots, screams, and strange voices on her block. Having no neighbors, she feared she would die alone.

She did, they said, of natural causes due to a heart attack. However, we can surmise that the last years of her life on her block contributed to her failing health as few people - the city, state, or federal "leaders" made any attempt to reconstruct the neighborhood that had been left to die as Marabel was left to die.

This is not a single case, as we are certain that there are more Marabels out there. But, as we gaze at the urban blight that is the city of Detroit, one wonders just what the hell is going on?

So, in this story from the "hood," let's take a real look at Detroit, shall we?

Transit Thoughts -

Seeing how transiting Uranus in Pisces is now bringing to an end the 20th century, stories like this are coming in from around the world.

Uranus is used as a timer in mundane astrology, along with the other outer planets. The last time Uranus was in Pisces was in the decade of the 1920s, when Marabel Chanin was born.

Back in the year 1920, Saturn and Uranus opposed one another on the Pisces/Virgo axis, and this is again where they are now opposing one another. So it is not a surprise that the conditions that we see in Detroit are peaking at this time.

We are seeing the end of a era. The 20th century, for all intensive purposes, was a bloody and shitty century of wars, extreme selfishness, complacency, and systemic economic and societal heartlessness that has come to an fitting end with the closing transit of Uranus in Pisces.

What is so tragic about the story of Ms. Marabel Chanin is the fact that Americans who felt for her could not find a way to fix this problem.

It is as if people cry their crocodile tears, and shake their heads about how sad it all is, and then go on their merry ways as if nothing had happened.

We are losing souls to greed, corruption and cold-bloodymindedness that must be fought against with the same ruthlessness that has been exercised on good people everywhere.

This is a serious crisis of morality for many Americans who, under the establishment of Baby Boomers seem to fear and attack children - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_viL3_FAMxQ&feature=fvw - more than they fear the close-at-home complacency that is no feeling for others - until it is too late.

What good can Teddy Bears, and Internet digital cards do for Marabel now that she has passed on?

Her body laid unclaimed in a morgue for five months before anyone took notice. Even the city of Detroit could not afford to give the woman a decent burial.

What is certain is that something much more substantial must be done to rebuild a country and its cities that is literally falling apart as a corrupted generation continues to feed themselves untold profits for fear of never aging themselves.

It is a crime that in a young country like the United States that a generation which have been running things as the establishment since the 1990s does not want to open its eyes and fix these kinds of severe urban and societal problems left to fester for nearly two decades.

Why would the Baby Boomers allow this to happen? Do they not have hearts?

What does it say about a generation that would allow cities as large as Detroit to crumble in front of the eyes of the world?

What does it say about entire cities and their communities that are left to fall apart?

What does it say about a generation that would allow a Marabel Chanin to die, in her home, alone, on Christmas, on a block where she was the only soul left living?

It says that the future is bleak unless the current generation now in power gets the hell out of the way because they've done no good. We don't need another hero. What we need are leaders and the Baby Boomers surely are not it.

That's what it says.

Forecast: March 2010 - Early Bird Gets The Worm

It's nearly that time.

After a horrid two-and-a-half years, the new astrological year arrives on March 20, 2010, and officially kicks off what is going to be an historic solar year for the world.

Are you ready?

You better be, because global transits are ready for you.

On February 28, Jupiter conjoins the Sun in Pisces and emerges from its far side, rising in the predawn skies in the months of March and April.

This is a sign to get yourself on the move and to make concrete plans for the new decade that is just now on the horizon.

Because 2010 is such a powerful transition year for many people, the months from March through June are best used by putting your plans into action months ahead of what you would usually do.

Why?

Transits.

For one, the first half of 2010 will feel like a fast year from now to about early August, but will slow down significantly due to Jupiter's retrograde (mid-July to mid-November) causing most people to fall behind after the Cardinal Crisis months of July and August and into the long drawn out second half of the year.

Jupiter's speedy transit through tropical Pisces from March to its retrograde July 23 provides some people with the opportunities of a lifetime.

Seek out and notice openings in all kinds of areas from the personal to the professional and be keen on creating new situations that reflect your true lifestyle and aspirations. New doors will open as others close.

Think about what you want, see it in your mind's eye, and then have your physical eyes and ears primed to recognize those very things appearing around you in the material world.

Look for them, and you will find them in reality. Be ready, willing and able to reach out for these opportunities and take hold of everything. You will need survive on all you can grasp for the remainder of this year.

By the time of Jupiter's retrograde in early Aries in late July 2010, some plans will have to take a backseat of review through to mid-November 2010.

Jupiter's position in Aries, along with Uranus in mid-2010, is a preview of 2011, so anything you've started to plan on by this time through the rest of 2010 should be seen as just that - preparations - but do not act on them until March 2011.

Wait through the rest of 2010, be patient, continue to plan, organize, and fine-tune.

The period between mid-July to mid-November 2010 is a time to relax, to kick back, reassess, review, recharge and use the months from July, August, September, October through to mid-November to plan for the year 2011 while you enjoy the fruits of your hard early bird work in 2010.

However, for those who waited too long to get some basic goals and objectives accomplished - it's going to be another tough year of delays, frustrations, recriminations and forced changes in lifestyle across the board.

The only way to change this is to either take everything on the chin, or try to make a break for it by using the first half of 2010 to create those changes that sparks positive results via action in your life.

Rather than enduring more of the same old negativity - with others making messes for you to deal with alone. These are large-scale problems produced by people out of your direct control.

The transit of Jupiter in 2010, for people with favorable positions, allows for significant progress into the year 2011 that signals a crossroads has been reached.

Jupiter's transit opens the door to a new road of possibilities and potentials into the middle years of the 2010s.

Those who use these opportunities will be at a great advantage over those who do not. Have a need for speed? You should.

Because speed is of the essence in 2010 as multiple rich opportunities will appear quickly. Be on the ball and on your toes - ready to take on the risks that appear this year.

Another reason is the Cardinal Crisis transits of July and August 2010. I cannot stress the importance of taking this particular summer off because of the powerful global transits of those two months in the northern hemisphere.

There is simply too much cardinal energy packed into those two month to get a lot accomplished, but the inclinations see people trying to do just that - forcing matters too much, too soon (and in some cases too late) thereby causing even more problems than they solve in the process.

Coping With Spring In Northern Hemisphere

After a very active winter season in the hemisphere most people will have been up to their snowed-in necks of cabin fever as spring approaches. For most in the U.S., for example, two-thirds of the country experienced their best snowfalls in many winters recently with several blizzards one after another.

The lack of sunlight, cold weather, and many weeks spent indoors causes problems as spring approaches in March and early April.

Most people tend to act out mentally and emotionally in the weeks right after a vernal equinox. The tilting of the Earth's northern half away from the Sun as the Earth moves towards equinox causes the human brain to shift - requiring more energy to remain balanced.

Anyone who is unbalanced has a bad habit of reacting poorly to the first signs of increased days of sunlight as well as the tilt of the Earth leading up to, and just after, the vernal equinox. This happens in March and lasts to about mid-April.

Accidents due to weak concentration, impulsive acts, snappy tempers, being argumentative, exercising poor judgment and a tendency to rush without thinking - all this is common during this time of year.

During the winter months the reduced lack of sunlight decreases Vitamin D and the amount of serotonin people produce - a vitamin and hormone that makes people feel happier and at ease.

Called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) it is a disorder of depression directly connected to the seasonal variations of sunlight. This disorder is also chained to the increased production of melatonin, which is a sleep hormone secreted by the human brain's pineal gland.

When people spend months in the dark, without sunlight, or proper indoor artificial light, melatonin production picks up.

Most people sleep longer hours over the winter months and eat more. The loss of sunlight makes people feel sad, depressed, anxious, irritable and tired with a tendency to argue and have short tempers.

Body clocks are timed to the rise and fall of the sun, so with the declined sunlight in the northern hemisphere during winter, people feel unbalanced as the Earth begins to tilt towards the equinox when day and night are nearly equal in length.

This spring will see negative, and seemingly illogical behavior because many people will have spent months indoors, deprived of sunlight, so people who are stressed out to the max will react to the max. Expect to observe this happening as mid-March and early April nears.

The best way to deal with this is to improve one's diet as well as spending the hours between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside during the late winter months.

A bad diet during the winter months is consuming too much soda, tea, and coffee because these stress out the adrenal glands that help people cope with stress.

Any kind of sugary drinks and foods will not help you to ward off the winter blues. Rather, you attacking your own adrenal glands and are making the situation worse.

A good diet that wards off the effects of a lack of sunlight and Vitamin D is to add fish rich in Omega 3 to your diet. Cherries help as well.

Avocados, linseed, beans, bananas, wheat germ, porridge oats, brown rice and wholemeal pasta - all these foods help increase serotonin.

Beans and rice is a good meal to have during the month of March, and taking time to spend outside in the Sun to gradually build up Vitamin D with exercise and walking helps to ward off the winter blues and cabin fever.

Drinking more water and non-caffeinated drinks keep the human body hydrated.

The economic crisis and loss of millions of jobs along with the overall economic stresses only add to the general tension people will experience in the northern hemisphere in March, and April.

Be aware of this, and try to avoid people who show signs of extreme grumpiness, which is common. Also avoid sensitive topics during this time. It is not the season to debate politics, religion, to have "house meetings," or have that "relationship talk." People are simply wound too tight.

Cabin fever is not an easy thing to deal with, but many people have exacerbated the problem by having a poor diet and not using the proper artificial light during the winter months.

Fights will break out, and some people will react so badly as to do things they would normally never do that will result in cases of violence as a result of SAD and the return of increased sunlight as the Earth nears the vernal equinox.

The most dangerous time is between March 10 through to mid-April.

According to my forecast, this spring and summer will arrive earlier than normal as climate conditions quickly improve with near summer-like temperatures by May 2010; surprising meteorologists and the public alike.

Many people will be shocked by how early summer temperatures will have appeared on the scene before the month of June.

Get yourself up and about. Get healthy, improve your diet, turn off the television, look around the house, and get busy as a bee using Jupiter's direct motion to jump start the coming new astrological year.

Form a positive frame of mind in March to tell yourself that it's about time you get on with it and make some proactive things happen so that this solar new year of 2010 will be one of the best.

You deserve it and so does your family. Remember that positive energy creates more positive energy.

The year from March to June is the best time to pick up one's pace before the months of July & August arrive with the Cardinal Crisis transits.

Here's a General Schedule -

March through mid-April 2010

Transits are excellent to about the time of Mercury's retrograde (April 17 - May 11) with Mercury slow until it reaches its Rx station degree point on May 29th.

The period of time between March to April 17 allows for action for those who want to get ahead of the troublesome transits of spring.

Far too many people are seeking the same things: jobs, moving, and money, at the same time by the time Mercury retrogrades in Taurus from mid-April through to May.

Using the time from March to mid-April well means getting into action gear and making things happen before Mercury's retrograde begins and slows progress for some through to late May.

Venus' transit in Gemini from April 25 to May 19 indicates that the public's mood will be frustrating for the most part; especially by the third week of May 2010 when Venus squares Jupiter and Uranus in Pisces, and also squares Saturn in Virgo.

Venus in Gemini shows a very busy, but difficult time for many. Plans are thwarted by a lack of focus. Communications are muddled with unreliable people not showing up for appointments, to help with moving, and missing chores and responsibilities.

Again, far too many people try to get too many things done, but with too little patience, scant resources and not enough healthy support - so frustration builds because of the lack of organization, with breakdowns in communications, and disappointments in people in general.

After the worst economic crisis since the 1930s, people will not be the mood to see their most basic plans stymied in the least.

To avoid these problems - use the month of March to do those things you would do in April and May and make certain that you accomplish them no matter what.

Those who do this will feel much better by the time May rolls around and see what troubles others are having because they waited too long.

We should be seeing signs in world news of increasing public outrage, anger and violence in the waning days of February into the early days of March with the start of the Full Moon Week in Virgo starting Feb. 28th.

These are early signs of increasingly frustrated people who've had enough as inclinations continue to push on towards the Cardinal Crisis transits of July & August 2010.

Mars' retrograde in Leo is coming to an end, as Saturn's retrograde in the early degrees of Libra continues towards its final two oppositions to Uranus this year.

Transiting Venus will enter tropical Aries on March 7th, and during the second week of March will oppose Saturn declining in Libra. Expect to hear stories of previous battles on school campuses along with continued attacks at home and abroad in the news.

Speaking of Saturn
: the planet re-enters Virgo on April 7 for the last time. Anyone with a Saturn contact, such as those experiencing their Saturn Returns in the early degrees of Libra and late degrees of Virgo will certainly feel this strong transit.

Saturn conducts its fourth opposition to Uranus beginning April 26 on the 28/29th degrees of the Virgo/Pisces axis and the stresses of the economic crisis reach a peak with personal and social situations highlighted through to September.

The "new" versus the "old" is always featured with Saturn/Uranus oppositions. From the looks of it, the outgoing Baby Boomer establishment of today are getting a taste of what they dished out in the 1960s during the last Saturn/Uranus opposition, and they don't like it much.

Seems the astrological saying remains true to form: what goes around does indeed come around.

There are budding conflicts everywhere, from local, to regional, to global with many of the same themes from 2008 and 2009 unresolved, with lots of emotional, personal, and political garbage floating around and clogging up most of the drains.

The immaturity, grumpiness, attacks, lack of agreement, can't agree to disagree, name-calling, no teamwork in sight, rigidity, ranting, raving, upheavals, downheartedness, eye-balled shouting, the temper-tantrums, violence, hypocrisy, and extremely spoiled behavior just boggles the mind.

One feature of the Saturn/Uranus opposition and combined transits seems to be a total lack of understanding and flexibility among grumpy youth-hating Baby Boomers who have completely lost touch with reality and the times.

Talk about either not getting your meds or needing some.

And these people are supposed to be the grown-ups running things?

This is 2010, right?

I know it is also a mid-term election year and all, but it looks more like Reality Lost: Dawn of the Dead IV rather than Star Trek: The Next Gen.

It's a mess. Truly. But, it won't last. Those who continue to be stuck flailing in the outworn behaviors of the past are about to be soon left in the dustbins of it. That much is certain.

During the spring and summer months, living situations with family, friends, and roommates are stressed and there are resentments, conflicts and recriminations which really are heightened personal frustrations being projected onto the people who are closest.

This extends to school campuses, work places, meeting places, well, just about everywhere people gather.

This is a time when tempers fly freely and relationships that are not stable run the gamut from extremely petty to hostile to outright violent.

Interactions with people living together in close quarters means it is time to move on. The month of March is a lot better to get this done than waiting until April, May or June.

People are in an uproar with the warmer weather. The same tensions that were evident in 2009 return with a vengeance, only this time people really have had a serious case of cabin fever and are in no mood to be friendly in the least.

Grumpiness begins to reach an all-time high and transcends onto another level by the time of the Cardinal Crisis transits when Saturn and Uranus perform their fifth opposition by late July 2010.

Now that it is Spring in the northern hemisphere, tempers run short, and frustrations are high. It is time to move along. Relationships that have outworn their usefulness come to an unfavorable end for many.

There's a lot of movement over the spring months, but financial concerns and economic stresses will have put a serious damper on the ability of people to actually do the things that they want to do.

These frustrations build throughout the months from mid-April to late May, and then continue into the Cardinal Crisis transits of July and August.

However, those who use the time from March to mid-April very well, and then pick up where they left off by late May to June 25 will have done themselves a great favor and should be sitting pretty just before the Cardinal Crisis transits arrive by July.

March 2010 should be used to act quickly during the month to get any goals and objectives into action as soon as possible. The direct motion of Mars on March 10 indicates a need to push out quickly and to make things happen - the earlier, the better.

I consider March to be a easier month than April, so anyone reading this should use the month of March extremely well to get their plans into gear.

Try not to allow any of your plans to be put off by procrastinating, sitting on your hands, or waiting for warmer weather to begin the process of moving up and moving on.

Avoid unreliable people who delay your interests that should be attended to immediately if you want to get your year off to a good and positive start.

Unfortunately, expect some people you once thought highly of to disappoint you as being unreliable, lazy and hypocritical. This is one of the sad influences of the Saturn/Uranus opposition that has been in effect since late 2008.

There is no time to argue, or to try to convince those who are slow to get themselves active to help, or to join you. If they are not ready then you must go it alone and get the job done. The transits of March are simply too valuable to waste.

However, the Saturn/Uranus opposition will come to an end by November 2010, so anyone who has been unreliable will realize (much too late) that they got the short end of the stick - not you.

It is essential to befriend and work only with people who are reliable and who are able to see past the short-term and think and act medium and long-term. These are the kinds of people you will want to associate yourself closely with in the 2010s.

Think proactively and get down to action in the month of March.

Move and get yourself positioned this year, earlier than normal, so that by the time summer does arrive, you will saved yourself the equivalent of four (4) months - simply by getting down to brass tacks in March and making things happen.

This will also mean that you will be several months ahead of the crowd because you got up off the couch, packed up, found a new place, and made your moves before most people.

Navigate well in March. Some people will be taking off for Spring Break. The wisest people will use this time to get things accomplished and use March constructively.

It is not a time for taking a vacation, but for creating your own opportunities with the help of the transits of March.

April 2010 is a trickier month. This is because the month starts off with a Mercury-Venus-Mars square from Taurus to Leo indicating that financial matters create tensions between friends, family and associates.

Then, by April 7, Saturn re-enters Virgo and ten days later, Mercury retrogrades in Taurus and reforms another series of square aspects to Mars in Leo again at the end of April. People can tend towards mental irritation and because of this arguments emerge.

There are problems in business matters and communications overall, along with impulsiveness and setbacks that are increased because of Mercury's retrograde during the month.

Most of April is a month of money concerns. The warmer weather with the onset of spring and the cabin fever has emotions running high.

People generally are too anxious, too impatient, and unwilling to be flexible considering the general economic climate.

Patience is called for, but the inclinations are strong - as many people think only of themselves and want to make progress right now - no matter what. In this climate, projects, plans, relocating, relationships, etc., all are jammed into a season where not much progress can be made under the transit environment of April and May.

Fights break out with the Mercury/Venus to Mars squares, and the Mercury retrograde, along with Saturn's fourth opposition to Uranus creates an atmosphere that is unbalanced, impulsive, and headstrong.

All of this makes the month of March much better to use to gain the upper hand and get ahead of these coming transits.

If you need to change positions, or find a new job, to change relationships, or to move, then the month of March is better than April and May when most people will attempt to do those very things under challenging transits.

Also remember that the Cardinal Crisis transits of July & August will put a serious damper on the summer fun of 2010, which is not the best summer traditionally.

Travel is unfavorable this summer, and the tensions of this summer 2010 has all the markers of a ruined season simply because of the impulsive cardinal inclinations and reactionary behaviors of many people.

Wait until the summer of 2011 to do the things you would normally do as that summer is much better than the one coming up this year.

This year, of 2010, is best used to transition, to pre-position yourself for next year's action.

Use the month of March 2010 to quietly ease yourself from situations that are outworn, or which show signs of increasing tension, and trouble. Rather, get yourself into a calm, quiet place, where you can think, and plan in peace for the very active transits of 2011.

You will be doing yourself a huge favor in the process.

The last best date in March to get things done is March 25, because the last week of March is a bit stressful with the coming of the Full Moon in Libra on March 30.

So, if you want to make significant progress and avoid the muddier transits of April & May - and the negative transits of summer 2010 - then the month of March is it.

My forecast motto for March - Early bird gets the worm.
